Best guitar solo I'ver ever heard over Giant Steps! I transcribed it a year ago and still practice it. Just great!

i engineered this album back in the mid 90's... recording these guys was like a dream i was living while wide awake, just surreal. they were all great guys, and Vic in particular was a real sweet guy. and tracking him while playing those amazing bass lines literally blew my mind. Henderson was crack-up!.... good times Bº)

If there were several takes, do you still remember if Scott and Victor played totally different solos on every take or did they have kind of a firm solo? I'm just asking because I can't believe that especially Scott's solo is purely improvised. It's just soooo perfect!
