@goldeneye2555 why not cry? a dog is something special that you'll have for many years and it will literally be your best friend. My family has been trying to get a golden retreiver puppy since November of last year. We've had 3 failed attempts so far- the first time the dog ended up not being pregnant, the second time the dog absorbed the puppies, and the 3rd time some of the puppies in the litter got parvo and we decided not to take one because we didn't want to risk it getting sick.

@goldeneye2555 Now, we're on our 4th try and we are due to get our puppy August 7th, 10 days from now. I can honestly say that I am almost guaranteed to cry when I finally get to bring my own puppy home after so long. It's kind of like trying for a baby and never getting pregnant. It's frustrating and definitely depressing at times. I've been waiting so long for this and I know I'm going to tear up when I finally hold her and know she's mine.
