  • esta linda en ingles o en español!!

  • I'm sorry but I cracked up when I heard the Phantom XD

  • i love how at the begggining her face looks so dumb, what i never understood was where the random horse came froom????????

  • @1magicwish im guessing they took that from the book. in the original novel, Erik (the Phantom) steals Ceasar the horse from the Opera's stables.

  • @Scar2401 True, but in the book Ceasar is a white hore, not a black one. Oh well

  • romantic language :j

  • I think, Barona is a real Angel of music... His voice is so magic...

  • Beautiful :)

  • I love this song btw were did you get the soundtrack in spanish??

  • THIS. IS. PERFECT! THIS IS HOW THE PHANTOM SHOULD SOUND!! Now its just perfect, he looks sexy and has an amazing voice!

  • For those who don´t understand spanish... this is the lyrics at the begining of the song...En sueños me canto y vino a mi mi nombre pronuncio yo lo senti es este un sueño mas o al fin te vi... fantasma de la opera ya estas ya estas aqui.

  • Julia Moller is pure <3 Her voice is soooo beautiful.. <3

  • This story is perfect for a "latino" treatment, it's sooo passionate! The English version pales by comparison.

  • Their voices are the ones that fits the characters the best in my opinion, especialy the phantom! A deep, evil-sounding voice but with a tone of kindness and care.

  • can someone write the lyrics?

  • Wow! This is amazing! Fantastico! best version! i also love the italian one. Two VERY sexy languages! :)

  • I love this pair SO much. Definately the most talented out of all the movie version couples!

  • Better than the English, but, then again, tortured rats sound better than the English song.

  • i love julia as christine she has a much power full voice the the other but there all talented <<,<3

  • wow!!! i actually like this one better O.O

  • Spanish isn't my favorite language in the world, but this sounds wonderful. :D <3

    YAY!

  • only in mexico the people say " ala chingada, chinga tu madre" is mexican dialet on other country dont say that

  • oh, i did not know there was a difference!

  • The spanish Phantom is great!!! :D

    awesome voice!! <3

  • It needs subtitles! Or at least the lyrics written in the info box for those of us who aren't so good at understanding people when they sing, (even in English!)

canca para mi! lol he's a crazy beggar

  • i have to say this singer is my favorite phantom of the movie version. my favorite christine on the movie also. =]

I do believe they were both in the show at some point. The show is much more fun in all languages (especially japanese) than the movie version is. But I have to say this is my favorite dubbing so far!

  • They were both in the show when it was running in Mexico. FANTASTIC cast!

  • Oh PLEASE. The chick that sang French couldn't even hit the high E at the end of the title song. Pathetic! Julia Moller was amazing!

  • The italian girl that sings the italian versions sings really well.

  • That is really stinking cool!

  • ommg that was beautiful!!! way better than the english :(

    i want to learn spanish!!

  • I really likes Spanish cast..

  • The translation is almost perfect! That's very weird nowadays.

  • I am officially enchanted by the phantom's voice in spanish.

  • Best cadenza EVER!

  • Of all the movie Phantoms, Juan Carlos Barona is my favourite! He is astonishing! :D

  • Julia Moller played Cosette in Les Mis a few years ago(properly, might I add). So I'm miffed to why they didn't cast her in the role of Chrisitne(she can speak English).

  • She was Christine in Madrid (2002-2004)

  • They wanted a young, American actress for Christine.

  • i cant understand any of this but it sounds cool

  • neither can i...

    and i speak spanish

    well

    latin spanish

    im mexican

    so

    i cannot understand this version

  • If I understand you right, the reason you probably don't understand this version of the song is because it's sung, not mexican spanish, but Spain spanish. From what I hear, those two spanish languages are different.

  • yes

    they´re different languages

    anyway

    this is great!

    i like this version

  • Actually, those who are born in a Spanish speaking country have absolutely no problem in understanding Spanish in all its "varieties." It is only those who are born here in the US who have a problem with it although they may be of latin descent. People here speak spanish distortedly which is mostly due to English influence.

  • well I was born in the United States and come from latin descent, but I can understand what they are singing... It's not that hard.

  • What QuietDesperation said is correct. Spanish in Mexico is not different then Spanish in Spain. Who ever told you their different languages is so wrong. There is some minor differences like accent, some things are called differently but we do understand each other perfectly. Its just the same as in the US, I'm quite sure that people from Texas use different words then people in N.Y. but still understand each other bc they both speak English.

  • When I said that the languages were different, I didn't mean it to be like an entirely new language. After all, it is SPANISH. I meant different like what you said, they may use different words or accents. Like the difference between American english and Great Britian english. That's what I meant.

  • i dont understand what you said.. but i picked out 'nightwish'..and think their version is brilliant!!

    :-)

  • They are PURE talent. And they've actually played the roles PROFESSIONALLY! I wish they would have played the Phantom and Christine in the movie :(

  • love it

  • cool

  • this is so good.. so much better than the english

  • This sounds a million times better than weak as dishwater Emmy and shout in your face Gerry. Is there some way of setting the English Region 2 DVD to Spanish?

  • I agree! I now NEED the Spanish version xD

  • Could you by any chance send me the lyrics?

  • <3 <3

  • precioso

  • I think this is the best version... =]

  • I love this song, I'm adding it to my playlist.

  • where can i get the cd?i looked on amazon and ebay and they don't have the one by julia moller and juan carlos barona

  • im sorry but what is cadenza??

  • To put very simple: the high notes at the end.

  • ¿Quién no canta bueno?

  • They both sing this fantastically. It's perfect for them and their ranges. : )

Her cadenza was beautiful! Very strong, pure and clear.

  • This is beautiful. I think they did a good job translating it to spanish.

Bravo!! lol. i hope i spelled everything right. im still learning mi Espanol!! mi encanta espanol y Fantasma de la opera!! ♥

  • Juan Carlos Barona has a very beautiful voice...i love his part of this song =D

  • Me gusta mucha ^^ The guys voice is amazing.

  • Love it! :) Can anyone give me the lyrics, please?

  • Precioso!! Me deja sin palabras!!.........simplemente espectacular!!

  • brutal!

  • bonita version! me gusto mucho ^^

    saludos

    desde chile

  • i like more her voice, is my favourite christine voice, more even than original. she doesn't put too much vibrato, her voice is just that way. the male voice is great too but i prefer the chinese singer.

  • these ppl are simply amazing!! they are sooo much better than emmy rossum and gerard butler. he may be hot to some ppl but that doesn't mean he can sing. and she's very inexperienced...these ppl can sing...

  • great singing!! but im a little biased since i love gerard butler and emmy rossum voices to death!!!

  • Oh, God, this is amazing. I love Spanish, it's a beautiful language and I hope to be fluent in it one day. And paired with Phantom, my favorite musical, it's nearly the best thing ever! Great combination! So thanks for putting this up. Es muy bonita.

  • I do believe that the Spanish version is excellent. Even better than the original. The soprano's voice is much better than Emmy Rossum - her voice sounds much more trained than hers. Juan Carlos Barona does an amazing job too. Well, he really sounds like a tenor.

I like MIchael Crawford version, I also like Gerard Butler's one but I think Barona's voice sounds just perfect for the Phantom. It's my humble opinion.

  • Omg the voices are awesome and ty for postying this but damn what was up with the racist ass and the Mexican slur,I mean sheessshhhh get a life all cultures have talent and beauty if you just look with the right eyes.

  • and they couldn't get talent like this to do the english version why? oh because joel shumacher sucks, thats right.

  • i love her think of me aswell

it is really good this song

    Fantasma De la Opera hehehehe

i dont lioke him that much but i would love to have a voice like that

  • Well..their tone quality is better than the English Rossum and (Scottish) Butler. But...they do lack in the area of perfomance. It isn't enough to just sing the piece as they do. I hear very little in acting through singing in the Spanish version..just nice voices.

  • Emmy is American actually and she is brillint at this song! Just remember that Emmy was 16 when she made this film!

  • OMG!!! this song in Spanish in amazing!!!

The lyrics are right, I think she is the best Christine, the final notes are perfect!

I want this OST too :)

GrobanPheark, you're made a great job to upload all this OSTs (spanish, italian, french, german), thanks again ;)

  • Yay! I LOVE the Spanish Phantom's voice. I've never heard the title song in Spanish, so this makes me happy!

  • The voices are spectacular; far better than any english cast, in my opinion. And they are not mexicans; they are spaniards (except Julia Moller?)...

  • You mean they are spanish? I mean the word spaniards.

  • yes that's what it means... from SPAIN!

  • Anyone have the MP3 file for this?

  • She sounds wonderful much better than Emmy.

  • I still prefer Gerry as Phantom. He's amazing and so is Emmy to this.

  • I prefer this song in French and Spanish rather than in English. It sounds prettier in my opinion. I know I can't understand what they're saying but I like the sound better.

  • Yep. In fact, if you didn't already knew, the singers are the actual actors in the play for Spain.

  • That's not actually 100% true. Julie Moller is actually from Germany, but she speaks Spanish and English as well. But if you meant if they are either Spanish people or just American's speaking Spanish, you are right- they are Spanish.

  • I don't know much about Julia Moller. All I know is that she starred in the Spanish version of the POTO play. So I assumed she was from Spain.

  • By any chance are the singers from Spain? I'm asking because of their accent. Anyways I really loved this song in Spanish!

  • this my be a stupid question, but are they speaking catalan?

  • Umm... did you notice that not only the title, but also the description and comments on this page all point to Spanish?? Where are you getting from that it's Catalan? It's Spanish, dear.

    ;)

    ~FILIUS

  • but, the singers are from catalonia. but it's right that they are singing in spanish.

  • I'm Spanish, yes, but it isnt important for see my favourite musical (phantom of the opera) in other languages. I love the spanish performed because I saw the stage with this two, and I love Juan Carlos Barona as the phantom, but I like mexican version, english, or italian... Anywhere, you can find videos of Juan Carlos Barona on stage, only see my profile!

  • Hey I have a question.

Is the Spanish dubbed version of the film avaiable in a region 1 DVD?

  • Yeah...Spain Spanish. But it sounds cool anyway.

  • Oh wow...this is the Spain Spanish dub.

  • This is very good. Spanish makes it so much better. I still think the original Mexican cast is better

  • Do you have french? I want to send this to my french teacher if you do! Or I can lend her the DVD...

  • thanks for this... I'll memorize it in Spanish and impress my Spanish teacher... haha

  • Glad to help! Tell me if you get an extra credit for it!

  • I liked them better on stage.

God I wish that clip of them on stage was still in here.

  • Its amazing, i cant stop listen to it. thank you for sharing this. a=m=a=z=i=n=g!

  • well no offense but just because the words are different it doensnt mean te song is so duh it is the title song phantom of the opera ;-)

  • what song is this?

  • It's "The Phantom of the Opera" or in spanish "El Fantasma de la Ópera" ;)

  • Thanks for clearing that up. I though "Title Song" was self-explanatory, but I guess not.

  • HAHA that made me laugh :P

  • ....what does that mean?

  • I know why is different than the original in mexican!!! Because the actors's lips had to move like the song in Spanish!!!

  • me gusto mucho, es bueno

  • I'ts different than the original mexican cast...

  • its the spanish cast..

  • the original is the english one lol the rest are versions =D why mexicans believe that they are the center of the universe and origin of all things? this is starting to be ridiculous =DDD

  • Quarintine is a Spanish movie from Spain, not Mexico and the movie name is REC, much better than the american version. More realistic
