I've seen some pretty terrible old school rank 12's - 14's. old wow pvp was just time consuming tbh, and I hit rank 12 back then (marshal). so I did play it.
An amazing shaman as far as gear and dmg output goes. But i'll have to agree with a lot of the comments. The actual skill level is pretty low here. If you wanna see A shaman from the vanilla wow days that had not as much dmg output but insane skill for the time check this vid out.

A handful of guilds were in naxx, like 1% of the raiding guilds or something. My guild made it into AQ40 and we thought we were fucking boss, even though there was ONE guild on our server in Naxx. I do miss things in classic though.... no resilience, clothies had to actually kite people.. certain classes had certain spells that were crucial to raids/bgs

@BludySkinz i was rank 14 in spinebreaker, from rank 13 to 14 i had to play 19hour per day during 38 days to get to rank 14 (i did it on summer as many rank 14) after that appeared burning crusade and blizzard fucked up the whole game because of 2 principal reasons:

Pvp in vanilla was fun since it was when WoW actually had roleplaying in it and it was challenging, this new shit is just horrible. Dont get me wrong i loved vanilla pvping on my 60 troll warrior but it was THE most unbalanced pvp ever. White damage hit around 4 times if you clicked once, so it was fun But also shit in the same sense.
Classic wow will forever be my fav period of wow. Now you have little aholes running around telling you how you should play your character. Fuck off I still use two handers for my shammy!. Nothing like knocking half of someones health out with one WF. In all seriousness wow lost its competitiveness and joy of earning raids groups and gear. I mean the skill level from pre-bc... to now is a huge leap... most are key binding, macros.. turning with mouse... but if he was still here today i bet you he'd be one insane enhancement shaman... his skill was pretty damn good for that time, but today's skill in wow has gone up a lot haha, i like it now ;)

@Xandril27 Keyboard turning and clicking is still much slower than keybinds, no matter what expansion you're in. If you knew anything about the honor system back then, you would know that the best gear went to the people who played the most, not the most skilled. unbreakable was pretty cool. most of the members of militia and vicious cycle were the best. thorrism, toddflanders, nadias, jigbizzle, fujikokano, swifilis.
Haha I miss when shammys could 1 shot mofos with a 2h. I remember being none twink and using corpsemaker in the 30 bracket and still dropping twink rogues in 1 shot. Though I have to laugh because you make in fun of the ele shammys and even they were kinda scary back then. I remember 1-2 shotting people with that spec too. :)

Cata is too early to tell, but so far good. You don't see many pugs clearing raids like they did in Wrath within the first month. I'm sure it will be free epics again come Tier 12 content though

This guy was a god, I always find myself coming back to this video. It's still a lot of fun to watch. He was the definition of a "one-shot" and I know it sounds crazy, but when I first saw this video and I saw him crit for 1400, I was in sheer awe, he broke the barrier for me!

@locke326 im guessin you started in wrath, so im gna break it down for ya, this is back when you cldnt have that gear unless you were skilled, thats HWL gear brah, rank 14, he earned his place in among the PvP gods with pure skill. vanilla was all about earnin your shit. also clicking and keyborad turning was acceptable back then cuz there wasnt so many skillz as there are now. kthxbai. :)

@Xandril27 Keyboard turning and clicking is still much slower than keybinds, no matter what expansion you're in. If you knew anything about the honor system back then, you would know that the best gear went to the people who played the most, not the most skilled. He's still a clicking keyboard turner that uses his gear as a crutch. Nice try, though.

Haha I miss when shammys could 1 shot mofos with a 2h. I remember being none twink and using corpsemaker in the 30 bracket and still dropping twink rogues in 1 shot. Though I have to laugh because you make in fun of the ele shammys and even they were kinda scary back then. I remember 1-2 shotting people with that spec too. :)

Cata is too early to tell, but so far good. You don't see many pugs clearing raids like they did in Wrath within the first month. I'm sure it will be free epics again come Tier 12 content though

@BlueKewne They totally should, I'd say the patch right before 2.0 ( not BC but the 2.0 patch that came out before BC ) so I think it was patch 1.13 or something, The Naxx era patch. That would be so awesome if it was cross old world and new world. So like LFG tool was in and the pvp battlegroups were large like they are now.
