Might sound weird...but I've done this without even knowing it. At work and stuff I'll sit there with my eyes closed and just wonder off. I feel so relaxed and I see all sorts of different shapes and colours. When I do it long enough, I can often go back to what I considered a perfect day with my now ex-wife but I can still see the beach and sand we sat next to with our packed lunch. I just tried opening my third eye for the first time while listening to a 936hz frequency sound and all I got was a bright white light. I tried it again a few hours later - same thing. Then I tried laying down on my bed and focusing where I had previously focused and got some of the light again but my head started hurting. Is there a limit to how many times I should do this per day? Also... is getting the bright white light the only thing that happens, or can I somehow navigate through it?
@livingstonem10 Hm... You shouldn't meditate for more than 45 minutes a day, I recommend about 15 minutes a day. If you are a Reiki practitioner you can use that to help open the third eye anytime you feel like it.
The white light is interesting though, I see a very small, pin-sized light when I'm in deep meditation. You should keep a journal and keep an eye out for symbols or shapes in the light. Love and Light :)

I dissagree that one should begin with the 3rd eye. I start stimulating all my chakras from the bottom up and this is pleasant and has never given me a headache. However, when energy has been channelled to my 3rd eye (Ashla system), then I have had headaches. This should be a gentle (and perhaps gradual) experience, not one with headaches.

Might sound weird...but I've done this without even knowing it. At work and stuff I'll sit there with my eyes closed and just wonder off. I feel so relaxed and I see all sorts of different shapes and colours. When I do it long enough, I can often go back to what I considered a perfect day with my now ex-wife but I can still see the beach and sand we sat next to with our packed lunch. Is that the kind of thing to expect?

My eye was open, partially open a few years back but I closed and blocked out it because I feared it.

I just tried opening my third eye for the first time while listening to a 936hz frequency sound and all I got was a bright white light. I tried it again a few hours later - same thing. Then I tried laying down on my bed and focusing where I had previously focused and got some of the light again but my head started hurting. Is there a limit to how many times I should do this per day? Also... is getting the bright white light the only thing that happens, or can I somehow navigate through it?

@livingstonem10 Hm... You shouldn't meditate for more than 45 minutes a day, I recommend about 15 minutes a day. If you are a Reiki practitioner you can use that to help open the third eye anytime you feel like it.
The white light is interesting though, I see a very small, pin-sized light when I'm in deep meditation. You should keep a journal and keep an eye out for symbols or shapes in the light. Love and Light :)

I feel exactly the same. it started when I tried to do a chi ball - I was joking around and I suddenly felt something. it's like left hand has a minus/plus and my right hand plus/minus. when I breathe in the ball retracts and when I breathe out the ball 'extracts?'. anyways - after that I realized I can move this ball as a feel throughout my body-first with eyes then with intent. then is when I discovered that I have sort of a ball around my body which I can 'spread' and 'retract'. what is that?

If your watching the latest celebrity scandal or government scare tactic then yes it is going to be like taking a shit on your brain. However if your watching something that is actually informative and thought provoking than it is quite the useful tool. That being said nothing can beat going out into nature for a few days, living of the land and meditating for that is AMAZING!

I dissagree that one should begin with the 3rd eye. I start stimulating all my chakras from the bottom up and this is pleasant and has never given me a headache. However, when energy has been channelled to my 3rd eye (Ashla system), then I have had headaches. This should be a gentle (and perhaps gradual) experience, not one with headaches.
