  • hey there mate.. i got a fish tank and the rocks are white they get dirty easy even the window.. it they get yellow.. any idea why that happens ?

  • thank you

  • once a week do water changes its alot better for the fish

  • I get the algae off the tank walls front and sides, but leave it on the back wall. Is that ok for the fish?

  • @smallbigjohn lol raging over a video on how to clean a fish tank bhahahahahahaha and who says if it is a small tank you clean once a week ? i have a small tank and it get done once a month water is always crystal clear and fish are healthy.just like people say you have to cycle your tank before adding fish i have never cycled before adding fish and have not lost any fish or had any problems by not cycling tanks first.

  • @TheArmchairPuppet You are very lucky then. And clear water does not always mean that it's clean, have you done proper drop-tests for ammonia and nitrite? And I don't mean those strip tests, those are so unreliable. And I'm pretty darn sure your fish will be surviving rather than thriving. As prey animals, they're not going to let on that they're unwell until it's too late.

    Poor fish.

  • @MeltWithTheStars nitrates and ammonia levels are fine and have baby orange swordtails and neon babies everywhere so i would say there thriving not just surviving

  • Do I need a siphon for a 5 gal tank

  • @Spongekid01 It will be more easy if u have .....

  • thumps up if you thought the tank was empty

  • It's funny how everyone gets all self-righteous when it comes to caring for fish. People point and say what's wrong and what they should've said. I think those people should make one themselves and still STFU.

  • @walkerjw81 Yeah, people who point out inaccuracies in videos people watch to learn how to care fo their fish properly. How dare these people not just sit back and let fish be treated cruelly. They can make all the videos they want, but when the "experts" are spouting rubbish there's not a lot of point - people will still watch this video and take it more seriously than one I make (even though mine would be accurate, compared to this rubbish) because I'm not eHow.

  • its me or ive seen this guy in an expertvillage video :/

  • Those angelfish are cute (:

  • once month. ffs i only have mine a year and even i know its once a week.

  • @greenmustard1966 if you have a proper filter system and cleaning supplies of a larger tank usually 50 lt or more its once a month, smaller tanks require more frequent cleaning

  • Once a month?? Wtf try once a week. Call yourself an expert!

  • this is better ehow rule expertviilea sucks

  • what kind of fish is that lik a mini angle fish?

  • get a uv light never have algae again

  • Thumbs up if you think eHow is better than expertvillage

  • lol yea once a month if you got a couple of guppies in a 20g :)

  • its one a week not once a month wat kind of a idiot is this

  • @caliburn0911 It depends on a lot of things but once a week is mainly when you're having major algae issues or you're still in the cycling period. That or you have a lot of fish producing tons of fecal matter *stares at my electric cat...*

  • i have to do once a week ´water change...

  • thanks for the info :)

  • very great info. right to the point!
