that would have been nice,,,nope i tried to hang on to the tree, but the glider weight had other ideas with haste. hitting the tree was soft, but smacking the ground hurt a bit...oops
Shame, that topless can't get down below ground effect and scrape the ground; FlintstoneStyle. Then NME comments would've read "expert flare!". Still, prudent split second judgment here minimized property damage. A hotdog would've tried((and failed)) to stop short of the cars. Too much performance not 'nuff drogue.
NME obviously never overshot a hot afternoon landing in his life.
