  • IGGY IS GOD!

  • this song sounds apocalyptic. fucking immense

  • thank you iggy & the stooges for this classic

  • iggy's voice is just so raw and real. you can fucking feel it.

  • Uooooooooooooooooooooh I love this soooong!

  • git!

  • this song reminds me of im eighteen by alice cooper

  • @igvu92 I saw a documentary about music from detroit and there was a part where iggy pop says he didn´t like it that alice cooper took his shit and made big money of it. if I remember correctly

  • @SharkSlayer353 low dirty hip hop bums everlast sure they ripped it off

  • Was this song ever recorded properly?

  • @Koolkitties Yeah, this is right proper init?

  • As good as it gets in 1969. LP s are still the best music

  • @eteuber60 I just meant in an actual studio with actual mixing, instead of just with everyone standing around whatever 1973's equivalent of a tape recorder was.

  • When I think about the word "passion", this motherfucker always comes to my mind. I know there are other singers who put their souls on what they do, but...

Wish I could take a drink with him, someday, somewhere...

(By the way: I'm not gay, just a big fan).

  • Marry me Iggy.

    and only 11,859 views?

    that's insane.

    still so underrated.

people don't know what good is even if it threw up on their doorstep on Christmas eve.

  • yeh baby

  • does anyone have the lyrics for this song? pls send my way, i wanna sing this next week...

  • Just google "Stooges open up and bleed lyrics" and it comes up.

  • who listens to Everlast?

  • @poohen223 dude that's hilarious!

  • @poohen223 who? and who the fuck cares!

  • fuck

its sounds like iggys puttin it all on the line on this track

    replayed it 3 times already

  • Is this song and others on that album, like 'Rubber Legs', 'Wet My Bed', 'Cock In My Pocket' etc. from the follow up to 'Raw Power' they never got together before they broke up? This song is great.

  • beyond

  • Damn i love this song

  • Iggy still sounds way ahead of his time then and now.the world will never catch up.The funhouse album from 1970 still sounds futuristic!?!!

  • I'd agree with that 100% Funhouse is IMO the best rock album ever, and the one of the most adventurous. The only other one I'd call futuristic even now is Roxy Music's "For Your Pleasure."

  • Never heard Roxy's "for your Pleasure" but thanx for the info cause I love music that still, and always sounds futuristic.Check this if you havent heard the whole album. In my opinion the most futuristic album ever: Bowies 1970 album "The Man who sold the World". Even today it still sounds so far ahead of its time. And with just mainly guitars, bass and drums.

  • @frankty67 yes, but 'raw power' and post-'raw power' stuff have a soul you cannot find in previous songs. those songs are so emotionally intense i haven't found anything similar.

  • @ygmarchi

    KOOOOOOOOOL!!!

  • stooges were from a different planet.

  • Cool

  • what album is version from?

  • disk 3 - heavy liquid (6 disk box set) - detroit rehearsals 1973

  • great!
