I am a certified personal trainer & know the trick of the trade. You can tell she researches the answeres to some of these questions because camera cuts off on some of the first few questions so she could research it real quick. I would suggest cardio before resistance training. It gets your heart rate up and you also never want to weight train a "cold muscle". So run till you start sweating and get your heart beating! Then do some resistance training after your all stretched out.

Dude they are kind enough to help people get in shape stop being so ignorant and actually appreciate what they are doing.
Personally I think most of you posting such rude comments can't even stick to a workout, or a diet. I'd shut up before you all embarrass yourselves even more.
the great arnold schwarzenegger once said in an interview that all u need to get in shape is to workout with high intensity for 45 minutes a day... if anybody knows about working out and looking good it's arnold.
for a seelf-proclaimed "expert", she does ok. these two should have prepared for this a bit better, but at least she did not give any false information. for those who watch this for advice, there is nothing better than learning it on your own. look into exercise research, from a peer-reviewed journal, or even exercise science education. many of these "experts" are not fully certified or educated in their field, but know how to suck you in with catchy phrases and key words

well it all started about 23 years ago when I met their mothers at this disco bar. I wont go into detail but I was pretty drunk and they took advantage of me.
you are just after talking about burning 600 calories in a gym session-is this normal. I am working out at the moment and have worked quite hard to reach the level of fitness Im at but I only burn 280 calories on the treadmill-2.4 miles in 30 minutes. Im working to get 3 miles in 30 minutes. I do some weight training as well but im not sure how many calories that would be-I usually do 15-20 minutes of leg and arm weights. Should I be burning more calories on the treadmill??

I'm also curious about this. I burn about 220 in a 30 min. jog on the treadmill, and I lift weights for about 40-50 min before I jog.

I like 4-8mins on treadmill walking(depending on the season(winer/summer) to get the blood flowing)
Then dynamic warm-up to active my muscles and loosen my tendons and feel out any tight muscles.
Then start lifting, warm up sets always.
