Jeez, that looks pretty bad. My neighbor was reportedly the worst hit yard in Rutland; there are literally hundreds of trees that have fallen. I have video and a ton of pictures of it. I'm going to put it on here soon.
cool house, you would have been better off in the real England. all you have to do is get used to the rain! oh and the outbreak of crime with guns and knifes in my part (south london)
The ground gets so waterlogged that the tree roots have nothing to hold on to. BTW, that's a great house, sorry about the damage. At least no one was hurt.
I grew up in Rutland...my parents still live there. They said it was the worst storm they have seen in 30+ years. Call your insurnace company and get familiar with your policy, specifically, the "exclusions" section. "An act of God"...etc....
Wow!!! I used to live in your house at 36 Morse place when I was alittle girl.. your computer room used to be my bedroom... My sister said the damage was devastating... I can see why.... good luck... I hope you can get your house repaired.
Hi... I used to live in your house when I was a little girl... Your computer room was my bedroom. I can't believe the damage... I haven't been inside 52 Morse place since I was about 10 years old. The damage is incredible... I hope you can make the necessary repairs... Thanks for sharing
Damn, I remember this, thankfully there were no big trees in my yard that could reach the house.
