This gives new resonance to the term "God creates man, Man Kills God, Man Creates dinosaurs, Woman Inherits the earth" (Jurassic Park) haha! Man kills God by saying even God must obey! how the heck does that work? are Rabbis God now? interesting line of thought!
@jathomas901 I would consider myself a main stream christian. I went with the information I had at the time. But I have always been searching for the truth and I think there are many Christians out there that are the same. I had never heard most of these things before. The one thing I knew was Sunday was not the 7th day of the week. But the feast days confuse me I know very little about them. I was always taught we did not have to keep them. I'm starting to believe that maybe we should.
@livegorgeouslygreen I was the same way growing up.. I was always mainstream christian, I had no idea it was wrong..
But theres so many contradictions with it, for instance one of the commandments were "Have no graven images or idols of anything in heaven above, the earth, or the sea below the earth" And they have roman long haired Jesus everywere, the cross, and the fish blaspheming his commandment in all 3 ways... Thats just one example.
@jathomas901 So where do you start? I purchased The Torah and have been reading it. Clearly not in Hebrew. But some of it confuses me like the feasts. If you never were taught anything where do you begin? I know one thing last year was the last christmas and easter I will ever celebrate. I will never participate in those pagan holidays again.
@LibertyTreeGal Thank you for your answer yes I have recently seen his videos on the Fall feast and since Yom Teruah is coming up...this will be my very fist Feast that I participate in. Thank you sister for your answer.
@LibertyTreeGal YES!!! I feel like I am now part of Gods family. I know I have been since I gave my life to Yeshua but its like being invited to things only reserved for family. But now I feel like am really grafted into the branch of Israel. I get to partake of his feasts. I can not wait. I am going to ask for the day off and spend the day reading the Bible and worshiping God. We are so fortunate that God choose to reveal his feasts to us. :)
Nehemia calls God Yehovah and Michael Rood calls him Yahway, so why the difference???
