Because this thing will not do good in the United States if they do not improve the OS for their computers.

A laptop that costs less than 65$ to make isn't that special. the only one I know of that cost more than 60 bucks to throw together is the Panasonic tough-book if its fully loaded with all the extras.

@kronocyber Dude even with factory flat cost the materials alone that are used in making products cost more than that for a car, I haven't a clue where you pulled $100 o.o. And to technology, it goes in the same route, all together nearly everything cost more than 60 dollars to put together, hell the manufacturing cost for the machining and construction cost at nearly that much per unit. If every laptop cost that much there wouldn't be a big movement one for OLPC, they could all have MBP's.

So what? You're phone IS a computer. Most phones are overpowered because the parts are more commonly made = cheaper for the manufacturer, even if the parts are better.

This goes the same for the Glossy Screens. You would think that glossy = high quality. No. There are more glossy because it is cheaper to get, but you would think that glossy > Matted, but it is not.
