  • what is the name of the song??

add it to the discription pleas

  • if you lounch from a pvc tube stuck in the grown or mounted on a flat board it will go much strighter up in the air it makes a big differance, keeps it from going into the ground, but don't drop the rocket inside the tube just hang it on the inside edge, hope this helps some...!

  • could be good for a riot

  • Wheres the ka-boom? There was supposed to be an earth-shattering ka-boom!

  • marvin! lol

  • @billhaley1868 Why would there be a ka-boom? Those are called salutes and, while they are fairly easy to make, the chemicals involved are very touchy. That just screams accident waiting to happen. On the other hand, with these motors you can add coloring, stick them on an angle and attatch them on a circular frame, and you have one of the pretties fireworks ever. More work for sure, but the feeling seeing it go up is priceless.

  • @hellerZauberer Relax dude, I was trying to make a joke, you know, Marvin the Martain... earth-shattering ka-boom... oh never mind.

  • @billhaley1868 Oh, sorry, I totally missed that reference! Epic fail on my part. XD

  • @billhaley1868 Here is is, the girandola: youtube(dot)com/watch?v=oGy0WF8ygX8

just replace (dot) with, well, a dot.

  • really great, just awesome. A+

  • wow

  • can u give me a list of tings I need?!

    It would be really helpful

  • is it re-usable!?

  • The stick, yes.

The motor tubes/nozzles, only a few times.

    They burn through pretty quick.

  • @ononys you do cardboard or pcv pipping?

  • gay

  • kist sta i kas nti terr i bias

  • use a lighter stick. it sunk like a rock

  • There are books on the internet (and a really good one at a website called SkyLighter(dot)com) that tell you how to make really nice fireworks. That's fireworks, NOT EXPLOSIVES. Rockets, cones, roman candles, and even mortars. The same website also sells everything you need from chemicals to tubes.

  • your stick it way to big... -.-

  • Fun rockets, but think about the fact that building your own rockets isn´t a good idea, you might loose fingers :/

  • If you take the necessary safety precautions and be careful; you minimize the risk.

Also, you're unlikely to have a finger-removing explosion with a sugar rocket motor in a cardboard tube, even if you tried. That's what M-80 and Silver Salutes are for.

  • Ohh yes I agree, but you shouldn´t forget the risk. It´s always a risk, and thats what makes it funny.

  • How you make it?

  • where did you get the fuse from? are you in th uk?

  • good, the second one is v. impressive

  • um how do you make the motor. Do you twist the edges of a tight hole or something?

  • It's a hand rolled cardboard tube, with rammed clay ends.

  • define motor bombs u fuckin tit.....avent u seen the movies, they r surposed 2 exploded in they....wat a waste ov 2 mins ov my life

  • Good to know.

  • Pretty cool

  • how many dicks an i gonna have to suck to c some explosions around here

  • Just one, really.

  • sticks are to heavy....

  • Yeah, but I wasn't going for altitude. I just wanted to see if they worked.

  • good video!

  • 5 star rating pretty cool.

  • dowel is to thick----- tooo heavy, but still flies very well

  • Yeah, I didn't want it going too far.

  • it is ground up potassium nitrate that is purified

  • or go to home depo and ask for grants stump remover its not fine powder but it is more pure

  • More pure than what?

  • you can also buy it online... its a pond and fish fertilizer. Also i know AmericaRX has it at 3.50 for 6 ounces. If its not already in a powder, just throw it in a coffee grinder fro about 10 seconds.

  • ebay... $2 a pound.

  • you call that home made bitch!!!! here in the philippines, thats all baby toys... STUPID!!!!!! FUCK YOU!!!!!!

  • Why... Thank You! You have really made my day better. Wait a second... Keith?

  • I made a bottle rocket out of...

    1- 600ft model rocket motor

    1- balsawood stick

    elmers glue

the rocket went like 1000 ft

  • where i find somme potassium nitrate??? pls answer me...tnx

  • You're an idiot.

  • if you want to get potassium nitrate, every wal mart store has it. Ask for Spectricede Stump Remover and they will show you where is is. Its already powder and 4 bucks for like i think 2 pounds. Any ways check out my rocket videos

  • tytytytytytytyty

  • plz maby more info would be nice. i understand if you dont want to tho.

  • Just search ebay for it.

  • whats kno3 and wer can i find it???

  • You have to separate it from nitrate bearing earth. It's a process that requires lots of dirt and time.

  • nitrate bearin earth??????

    its strawberry fertilizer- (salt peter)

  • what does the corn syrup do? i never heard of people adding corn syrup.

  • Yeah, its in the official KS Engine recipe, corn syrup contains sugar so it adds to the fuel, but its used as a binder in the recipe, but because of the sugar levels in it, it doesn't hinder the burn rate.

    10g Corn Syrup

    35g Sugar

    75g KN03

Heating slightly helps dissolve into the syrup.

  • is that smoke mix or what? some people make them with black powder thats pretty neat though, ill have to try that.

  • Yes, it's a KNO3/Sucrose/Corn Syrup recipe. My BP rockets still need some work.

  • The diameter size of the sticks you are using may be dragging the lift regardles of the weight. Try using something that's 1/5 the diameter and you will see a difference.

  • Yeah, these are my first motors, and I wasn't sure if they would even work. I'm going to start testing with an airframe soon, so the sticks will be limited to testing lift/burn rates.
