  • and is this supposed to make you spend hundreds and thousands on their line?

  • which stoner made this?

  • I wish everyday items would turn into Prada! :D

  • That Zora knows how to dress...

  • scary in a not good way. Everything in this world looks soulless and pathological.

  • How could you hete this?!

    this is so relaxing.......

  • i think the video looks too superficial to engage with this extremely sensitive music

and they are trying to relate the products to something they could never have

  • they twisted fantasy with the bible, SICK and twisted.

  • This is cool but kind of FREAKY! that Has to be cocorosie in the music, am i right??

  • Beautiful!

  • gotta love the way she walks XD

  • @losomerandomperson and @VirginiaMichelle I mean sound like bjork!!!

  • bjork?????

  • @MrPippossin NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! CocoRosie <3 i guess it's selfish of me to want them to no go mainstream <3....they're like a special little secret to me :). I just hate it when people take something i love and make it into something common.

  • @VirginiaMichelle

    i totally agree

but we can not be greedy with our secret pleasures like cocorosie

we need to share the beauty and the music to everyone

  • @lolsomerandomperson

It's true <3 it's just hard because nothing stays original anymore.

  • @MrPippossin

    no, cocorosie

  • Madonna on her Sticky & Sweet Tour included this video on the Rain/Here Comes The Rain interlude. Of course it was not the same. It s different but with the same girl

  • The music is by CocoRosie

  • why haven't I seen this until now...

  • baphomet!!

  • it symbolizes something

  • ..o.o

  • This is so fricken LUSCIOUS!! Gorgeous and brilliant!!

  • Is this a competition?

I love the video, but i feel the music is sort of out of place.

  • Who did the music for this?

  • cocorosie

  • how the music? I like so much

  • wow she looks like wat you would get if a human and a alien mated

  • so cool!

  • trippy

  • this is a really beautiful video and is intensly creative.....................well wat do u expect from paris nd france!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT

  • and animation was done in los angeles. it says right after it?

  • Creepy, very creepy. The animated female had X-files eyes. You know the ones that turn into black liquid, revealing an alien within. Is it about Prada? Could of fooled me. It was so creepy and distracting. Something between a tele tubby cartoon and a toilet tissue commercial.

  • I think that this video resembles paradise: she eats a forbidden fruit, baring the ultimate sin and therefore she must leave paradise.

Suddenly she feels very 'naked' (she realises her womenliness), which is being solved by a Prada dress. Then she meets the devil himself, who gives her a matching handbag (the devil wears Prada), and finally the devil's outside bursts into peaces and a flower starts to florish: never judge a book by its cover and ask yourself what is wrong and what is right?

  • i think your pretty right. i think its kinda funny how she eats the forbidden fruit and is rewarded with prada. if i was rewarded with prada i would break so many sins lol.

  • OMG those are Kate moss's eyes love it!

  • i love the whole strory! it is creative an beutiful and fabuals. it has a stunning Jenesequa

  • i watched this high its so fucked up

  • FABULOUS CONCEPT!

I loved it, and the song it's great too

  • cool!

  • Oh My God!!! I totally love it!!! It´s amazing!!!!!!!!!! AWESOM-I don´t have words......

  • fashion shit

  • then why are u watching this

  • i was trying to be less stupidly prejudiced about fashion

    aspacially about the mix"art-fashion

and this poor thing didn t work

    this is why

    dear

  • ur wasting ur time then

    ur just close minded

    just accept it

  • Well dear, its only your loss because now you'll live the rest of your life tacky and with no taste. The best thing about fashion is there are no rules, collections are always different than eachother, so if you're not even willing to look for anything, then CONGRATS! You're extremely closed-minded.

    Happy Life.

  • It's really very beutiful. Pity it's abot handbags!

  • i really didnt think that James Jean concepts had anything to do with Prada bags and phones.. kinda weird, it makes me see his work differently in a bad way :S

  • @cristiyunna wow you're dumb

  • this is soo my faw!

    <33 love the music

  • It was visually interesting, but just not my cup of tea.

  • This is really a very good video. The only thing I dont really like about it is the dress the woman wears~ it looks a bit boxy on her. but besides that it is very pretty and well~made video! kudos! ^_^

  • James Jean completely rocks my world--and paired with the haunting sounds of the Parisian girlies of cocorosie, it's truly breathtaking. Good work Prada.

  • The video is great but the music is dull as fuck - not exactly Teardrops by Massive Attack. Which came first, the music or the videa?

  • So Nice !

  • saw this at the design museum in london today!

  • beautiful~~

  • does anyone know the name of the song?!

i know cocorosie made it, but i would LOVE to download it.

  • Good luck finding it!! ive been looking for it since this video came out!! if you find it let me know please!! =D

  • it's so amazing

  • yes very hypnotizing indeed!

  • Yah does no one other than me realize the sexism contained in this video? The symbolism of Eve and Eden and the "downfall"of womankind is really obvious. According to Prada the dichotomy of Madonna or whore persists to exist.

  • This is so beautiful

  • Anybody know who the music artist is?

    this is heavenly~beautiful~*

  • LYRICS AND MUSIC BY:

    COCOROSIE

    (0'11" @ the vid)

  • who in their right mind would bend down next to a swamp wearing Prada?!

  • who.....haha...sicking fish wearing prada pumps.....

  • its so great to see big mega bucks companies supporting the arts...so medici

  • i usually hate anything pixar or sims, but this is very creative and imaginative

  • This is pure art.

  • This was very hypnotizing=]

  • oh gee i wish crabs would turn into a prada shoe in real life!

  • I think it's beautiful, cool they included the Horned God too.

  • Why the big riffraff of pretentiousness when you want to bring across such a simple message, the CG looks kinda bad too. Prada wasted major bucks on this I'd say.

  • *that's

  • wow that's pretty cool. love the mysterious mood that created.

  • I didnt know models ate lol jk, awesome vid

  • Magnifique! J'adore Prada! & la vidéo!

  • so clean& pure

  • simply brilliant

  • I still love the original sketches James did for this video.

    ~Mikey W.

  • honey nights,perlamuter days..

  • I Love This Video;

    Its Beautiful.

  • prada <3

  • i love that song!

  • 'trembled blossoms' title and the music are beautiful.

  • it's too anime-inspired but that's all right

  • the apple=the forbidden fruit

    the pan=satan

the fish=leviathan biblical demon of the ocean

I think the message is= sin breeds life

  • also the music is backwards

  • this is so amazing i can't even describe it.

the sunglasses that go along with this campaign look like they're about to melt into the ground or something they remind me of icecream in an odd way and i just love them.

my friend has them in like 3 colors i'm so jealous of him. i need some of those i shall get some i think. haha.

  • Wow. I love this. It's so artist and well put together. It reminds me of an abstract painting brought to life.

  • Man and his symbols...

  • with which the software is made

  • hahaha

  • i don't quite get the whole idea of this video i sorta do but i loveeeeee the shoe ive never seen shows like these b4

im saving up my momey so i can buy prada ruffle show they sooooo pretty !!!!!!!!

  • The dude at the end is supposed to be Pan. Apparently.

  • after reading a few of artsylovelylady's comments i rekn that this film is too deep for most ppl and therefore not a great advertisement. because advertising is wot it is tryin to do and all the symbolism (if thats wot it is) goes way over the majority of ppls heads. pradas customers are wealthy yes but that does not mean they are intelligent enough to "get" this film, therefore its not the best ad

  • I really like this collection. The fairy print is beautiful.

  • that monster with horns soo looks like the one from Pan's Labyrinth lol

  • i wish i was in a prada forest!

  • Whatever.

  • formidable ' awsome

colorful ; creative ' a plus 10! mimi Mercury love it congrats !

  • this is gay but i love prada

  • how is this sound gay? its awsome if you like prada, cuz its like one of the best designer brands ever

  • This is the most pretentious loud of bollix I've ever seen. The 3D is crap, particularly that pan/minotaur thing, and it moves at a snail's pace.

  • anyone know the name of the song?

  • I think the song is Werewolf by Cocorosie.

  • wait no, no i lied... haha i'm not sure what the name of the song is.

  • Wow, that was trippy, good, but trippy. Lol. ^^

  • Well someone was on LSD... (jk) Great Vid! ^-^

  • That was very special ! And I like it...

  • BTW, it's not like artists can't use a double meaning in a symbol, such as the fish, sort of in a 'throw the stone but hide your hand' kind of way, and these are Western artists, not "Eastern." I'm pretty sure they know the Western viewpoints of their symbolism.

  • the eyes are freakin me out

  • i hate how you can always twist and turn everything to resemble something about religion...

    its so annoying.

  • Playthetragic, what other clip have I even blogged on where I even mentioned religion, you phony?

  • he means people in general, you phony.

  • At the beginning of the video, the bird is always at eye level, never high in the sky. In Western art, grand things are shown above eye-level but mundane things are shown at eye level. At the end, she opens her purse to release the bird (heavenly creature/symbolic of God), showing that God could be contained, an important statement against omnipotence in supernaturalism. She covers herself with the colorless film, choosing to cease her existence, presented as a beautiful ending. It's deep.

  • a 1000 years old carp could change into a dragon (eastern dragon), this is what they trying to adapt (at the purse dragon part).. but like in reversed way. it's not really christianity, you can even see it from the dragon movement.

  • You're telling me that an Eve figure eating an apple and ending up wearing clothes is not Judeo-Christianity? You're seriously trying to say that?

  • ehhh ok, whatever, im only refering to the dragon....... i only see those as nymph and satyr.... that's all, not eve or the devil....

  • And I'm referring to the whole video.

  • I really liked you meaning on the symbolism. I did not verify them but they seem quite reasonable. Before I realized this was commercial I thought it was just an artist video. Very intriguing.

  • WTF?

  • oh did they actually use this for prada?

  • I didnt want Eve to take the first bite of the apple. But then she did and the world exploded in colors!!! Some old religious prejudice die hard. Lovely heroine and found her care free expression of reproduction/ continuity charming and sad. We all live to die.... what will we do with the moments in between? LMAO at my art critique the artist prolly has a different interpretaion of his work but fuck him its what YOU get out of this that is important. ps I'm high Billybob was here July 02 2008

  • this prada idea is quite amazing,

they have done something really new, i dont think anyone has done something like this before

the music is really feaky though!

  • Yves Saint Laurent already did a fil for the mens winter collection. And Shanghai Tang did one too.

  • like a evil lady~

  • If I feed a fish fruit will I get a pretty Prada bag too?

  • Yup!

  • So I'm supposed to take fashion cues from an emaciated cartoon alien who hangs out with the devil? No wonder the Pope doesn't wear Prada. This ad almost looks like devil worship. Nothing respectable about that and I'm not buying it (literally).

  • I'm not sure you understood any bit about this clip... keep at Disney to make it safe!

  • No, I understand it. I don't think you want to understand it. The horned being is symbolic of the devil. The woman is supposed to be an Eve-like creature, and she sits down below the devil (honoring position) and feeds the apple (symbolic of original sin in Genesis) to the serpent (symbolic of evil) which turns into a fish. She accepts the fish (ancient symbol of Christianity) which the devil turned into a purse (earthly wealth) for her. This video is deep. You have to pay attention.

  • The horned fellow is Pan, an ancient Greek nature deity. The apple is not "sin", it's the "fruit of knowledge" of good and evil. So my story is: Eve gets born, naked and innocent. She awakes to fashion and pleasure: shoes and fruit, dress & purse. The message is (to me): women are naturally fashion creatures. It's part nature and magic! The only "sin" here is "coquettery"... and it's part of the female nature. Did you notice the sub-message: Pan (the male) offers the purse to Eve (the female).

  • @RaoulVDB2

except she doesn't look like a woman. She looks like a teenage boy.

  • u could not afford it anyway.

  • How would you know? You cannot afford to capitalize your letters. You are uneducated and are less likely to be able to afford it than I am.

  • the pieces all cost like over $2000. no i cant afford to capitalize letters, theres no time.

  • that is amazing

  • Wow tres chic!

  • this is so disturbing (and the dress is ugly). it is like some creepy fetish wannabe art thing. gross.

  • best of all commercials I've ever seen... new idea and great design of a movie... best!

  • that was a real trip. i liked it. it was very original and haunting but i don't think i quit understood it. can someone explain the meaning of this to me?

  • what?

  • Wow. Great animation.

  • Great video and Great use of animation. Bravo Kudos on that!=).

  • sick. ppl. who made this should seek prof. help. quite morbid and teaching.

  • Music is CREEPY and so is the aniamated girl...just show us the line without all the so-called art! Love prada, but could do without this video...now I can't sleep, that music is going to haunt me!!!

  • very good :>)

  • this was an extraordinarily beautiful video with great artistry. i loved it.

  • kool but who would where that

  • Very creative. .well done. . and wonderful art!! :D

  • that was cool, i really liked it.. and great chill out music:)

  • That was kinda cool!

  • ^

  • Well that's just ridiculous.

She's clearly far too fat to be a high fashion model.

  • Wow I can't believe this got featured. Ugh.

I love Prada and that collection was fabulous.

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but did you or did you not see Crotch Clevage at 1:14? Other than that all I can say is....... w/e.

  • elkview pimp is my aim fucking add me im on shrooms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bad

  • haha wat teh fuck

  • what's this song called?

  • They're wronge.

It's not the Devil who wear Prada, after all.

    It's the Alien.

  • This reminds me of a story I read, I just can put my finger on it.

  • This is what passes for a feature these days? I'm very disappointed in the selection youtube - if I wanted to be advertised to, I'd turn on the TV set.

  • the typical day of an alien:

getting whore shoes on, being massaged by a lesb that becomes her clothes, and getting a Prada bag from the almighty goat god.

    this song molested my ears.

  • not a goat god thats SATAN!!!

  • personally, i think it was a satyr.

  • As if most of those buying this overpriced dreck were thin, tall, white or beautiful. Conspicuous consumption and commodity fetishism, affluenza ... dysfunctional syndromes of a corrupt, selfish time.

  • stop trying to talk smart. its a hobby as is creating the art that goes into designing. as shown in this beautiful video.

  • where's my acid...

  • Crapped-down "Matriculated," anyone?

  • This looks like stuff you would see when you're on LSD. haha. But then again, LSD did help a lot of artists find their creative outlet.

  • I loved this. I thought the art was beautiful and the concept was abstract and caught my attention.
