After doing some research I found out that this version was recorded live in the early 80's in Reno Nevada. The singers on this group was Tony Butala, Donovan Tea and Ernie Pontiere. I will do more research on this particular song.
I will do some research on trying to find the live version. I remember playing this song on my radio show, and I believe that it was from a 1984 concert. At the end of the number during the applause, I could hear Tony Butala say "BRAND NEW". I will let you know lettermen1
Great rendition of this classic song. I remember hearing a version of this live. I wonder if that track is available. Thanks for posting this great song.
Thanks again Phil, just confirms how much I still love The Lettermen. I can't wait til they finally come to my small town in May. Already have my tickets...lol

Nice video L1.
Wow! a song from my most favorite West End (Broadway) musical!
Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman duo has set the bar so high but The Lettermen has successfully done it again.
Gerard Butler & Emmy Rossum also gave justice to the song in the movie version.
(Shes in my All of a Sudden & Are You Lonesome Tonight videos.)
Thanks. 65R:)
