Ramesses, YOB, Wolves In The Throne Room, Toner Low, Izah, Sons of Otis, these are all sludge and drone bands, Electric Wizard are also kinda sludgy but more what is called "modern" doom metal

Boris, Sleep, Electric Wizard, Goatsnake, Lento, Sons Of Otis, Acid King, Toner Low, Om. YOB, Church Of Misery,Bongzilla, Weedeater, Morkobot, Shrinebuilder, Melvins, 35007, Minsk, Earth (old work) , Colour Haze, Iron Monkey, Khananate, Eyehategod, Orange Goblin, Neurosis.

And lots lots lots more.. all band in the 'heavy rock' genre, from doom to psychedelic/space , or more stonerlike bands. Most of the above bands kinda combine all these types of music.
