@smileybex1 -- When Jane arrives at their house, she tells them her last name is "Elliott" because she expects Mr. Rochester to organize a search for her and she doesn't want to be found. (At least in the book, he does organize a search but naturally fails to find her because she's not using her real name.) St. John learns the truth when she accidentally signs one of her drawings using her real name.

@grouseeeee seeing how St. John (or "SinJin") only has a small role in the book, as the missionary who asks for her hand but she later decides not to go with him, he should not have more than half an hour in the movie

I know, I waited FOREVER for it to come to my theatre and it never did!!! But I hear that it's supposed to be released on DVD in July sometime. I am so gonna buy it. :)
