The Disney movie was about Erica Enders - the person who played her was Beverly Mitchell (from 7th Heaven) - and her sister Courtney Enders was played by Brie Larson (better known for her song writing & singing). And yes, the movie is about Erica's racing, starting at the ripe old age of 8. *__*

Erica made it because of marketing and the fact she is a semi good looking girl.  Her racing skills really AREN'T that impressive, she has not won that many races. She never won a national championship in juniors even though that stupid movie makes it look like she did.

To dragbabe18... Erica Enders is far from being the greatest NHRA Pro Stock driver in history. Surely you jest. Ronnie Sox, Bill Jenkins, Don Nicholson, Bob Glidden, Lee Shepherd, Warren Johnson, Kurt Johnson, Darrell Alderman, Jeg Coughlin, Greg Anderson... these are great Pro Stock racers. Erica Enders is no where close to being on the same level as these folks. Get real.

Erica Enders is the greatest NHRA pro stock driver in history, she's been through everything, the crashes, the hardship and she deserves to win the female of the year award. but thats just my opinion. i love you Erica!

She's proof that it takes more than daddy's money to be successful in NHRA Pro Stock. She hasn't even ran in any of the last recent events since she hasn't been making the field every race.
