Me and brother picked up this movie at Newbury Comics. We went to his house on the way back smoking a blunt. We got there, popped it in and holy shit did the movie amaze us! I had never seen anime like this. I nearly shit myself. If you own a Nintendo Wii, Tatsunoko vs Capcom is a must buy because Karas is a playable character. Karas and Ryu.....cant think of a more epic duo.

Karas = Greatest Fight Scenes in Anime History but HORRIBLE story, makes no sense at all. I even have Jap dub with translations. it's terrible how they just put shit together and you can't follow wtf is going on. The Battles are epic though, best part about Karas.

Because English dubs usually do suck, I don't even bother watching anime without eng subs, no emotion. Trigun is horrid in dubs, but in subs, it's still one ofmy fav. animes

Well I used to look at my favorite anime (Ghost in the Shell) in Engdub, and hated the monotonous and emotionless voices. Then I discovered that watching in Japanese sounded much better. After that I started comparing each time I got a new anime.

I know not all dubs are bad, but most are low-budget with bad voice actors, while for the original they use skilled voice actors.

Examples of bad dubs: Akira, GITS, Serial Experiments Lain, Blood the last Vampire, Full metal Alchemist, ...

i agree with most of the anime that eng dub is bad, but i do not agree with you for full metal alchemist, it was the first anime i watched and the first in dub and i found it really good. that's also how i became a huge fan of vic mignogna. The way how he voices ed is really good and i love the other voice actors too. :p

@frogreactor got to stop you there, I know this is opinion based, but Full metal Alchemist has in my opinion a great English cast of voice actors. Especialy Ed and Winry, Amrstrong and Mustang. Oh and before you ask, yes I did watch the japanese version as well.
