  • Amazing!!!

  • Man, you shuld rewrite description, even if it is old. "The 40mW Spartan blue laser pointer is the world's most powerful hand held blue laser in action with awesome beam shots" that is not true anymore. And I've checked dragonlasers website. 5mW laser cost 230$ meanwhile on wickedlasers you get 1000mW or 1W blue laser for 300$. And that 1W laser from wickedlasers is very good, quality laser, my friend has it. Tere is something seriusy wrong wit dragonlasers...

  • @Timi116 Something seriously wrong with your research.

Dragonlasers sells the 1 watt Spartan blue laser for $240 which owns the Arctic AND is a lot cheaper.

  • Funny, because the only 1000 watt laser in the world is in europe. P.s its a mile long and it can cut through 12 inch thick steel so dont fucking lie about your little laser pen that you got from the corner store you dickhole. Yeah im in college studying laser optics so I know what im talking about.

  • @penjis21 You know what you are talking about and you say there is only one 1000 watt laser in the world. What college do you go to?

Incidentally the video title refers to portable blue laser!!!

  • 40mw i can get 1000mw

  • @MrRedDotCity97 not 3.5 years ago

  • @dragonlasers amazing how technology progresses aint it?

  • @MrRedDotCity97 i HAVE a 1000 W ;)

  • This is 473nm, the 1W spartan and Artic are 445-447nm! That means that the 1W spartan is a violet color, much harder to see at low outputs and much much cheaper to make. Also, they absolutely require safety glasses if you wish to see in a year. The one in the vid, 473nm, even at 40mw is awsome!

  • same question as sarafan, pm would be nice thanks!

  • @STFUC PM sent

  • @dragonlasers same question as sarafan and STFUC, pm me please if you dont mind.

  • @OwningDDS PM sent

  • I'm looking to purchase a violet laser pointer from dragon lasers.com but am having trouble deciphering.. which mW and which series would be better for a beam that doesn't need fog to be seen and can be clearly seen at night? thanks!

  • @SarafanLord101 PM sent

  • why are they all priced so high lol

  • @kiddolols blue 473nm lasers have high prices due to high manufacturing costs. blue 447nm lasers are MUCH cheaper with a 1000mW model costing $240.

  • @dragonlasers

even though the 1 watt blue spartan has a rectangle dot does it affect its burning capability?

  • outdated video is outdated

  • Comment removed

  • no the artic spider 3 is the most powerfull blue laser it 1W

  • @BlackFireNL Wrong. The arctic will rarely have an average power above 900mW. The Spartan normally has an average power above 1000mW.

  • i want a relativly cheap green pointer, what can atleast be seen in daylight.. any ideas??

  • @uffy4 Viper 75mW from Dragonlasers . com

  • THIS IS MADNESS!!!

  • The spyder 3 is 1000mw the same as the spartan . wickedlasers said that. Am i right?

  • @Frostywinter10 No. You'll find that the Arctic rarely if ever reaches 1000mW. The Spartan can easily reach 1000mW.

  • Comment removed

  • does dragon lasers have a chart that shows what power of lasers does what. because i want to buy a laser that at minimum, you can see in the light.

  • @sumosumo84 yes we do

  • Guys, this was from before 445nm diodes came out, the blue ones were very expensive, but now, dragonlasers has the new spartan 1000mW blue, get that one, not this 40mw one. 473nm ones like this are more expensive because of the way the laser diode is, it's called DPSS. Go for the 445-447 spartan laser, much better for your money.

  • Does Dragonlasers ship to Germany too?

  • @WillstDuNichtWissen Yes, Dragonlasers also ships to Germany

  • Hi, nice vid :)

Do you know how long the beam distance is?

Would you recommend the Spartan or the Hulk Ultra?

  • SPLAZER :O

  • Geeks and Creeps stand in line. Dont want to miss a chance to murder and kill and get away with it, while Canadas Finest the RCMP are looking for UFOs and Aliens as the culprits And our " faithfull' representatives in parliament are bickering over Gun controll, while collecting a paycheck and later a big pension, for a job from they should have been fired from already long ago.

Google: werner bock cattle, over 100 pictures, watch and use whatever is left of your brain.

    Werner Bock

  • false the artic spider 3 is

  • @jackjayatherton No. The 447nm Spartan laser has an average output of 1000mW or a little higher. The Arctic averages 800-900mW if you are lucky and receive it after months of waiting.

  • @jackjayatherton false the spartan 1w is:) the vid was made when this was the most powelful

  • Does a blue laser produce any invisible light if it isn't filtered? .

  • @AndThatsWhyYouFail Depends. The blue Spartan 447nm diode lasers do not produce IR so no need for a filter. The 473nm DPSS lasers do produce IR so they need and IR filter.

  • @dragonlasers Thanks What about a 405nm?

  • 3 years ago manthis is crap I dnt think dis can burn hmmmmmmmmm?! =:(

  • the red 1 is the least powerfull i had that 1 it waz crap

  • i was wondering ; what is the least power laser/torch needed in order to grill meat? I,ve heard that some people cook with them when when they camp out.

  • where can u buy those lasers at cheap but still looks good

  • i got a 200mw blue portable. -_-

so your wrong aboute most powerful thing

  • @technicgeek two years have passed, dumbass :P

  • @technicgeek This video was posted over two years ago.At that time it was correct.

Currently the most powerful portable blue laser is the 1 watt Spartan laser also from Dragonlasers :)

  • @technicgeek The title is out of date because the video is over two years old.

Dragonlasers now has a 1000mW blue portable :)

  • it was the most powerful HANDHELD laser. thats the catch. handheld. they created something similar to a lightsaber in 2006 but it was way too big. it could cut through most things with ease.

  • This was definitely a sick laser for it's time (since this video came out the first of the 2008) but wow have things changed, and for the better!

  • fucking retards, this vid came out in 2008, when this WAS the most powerful hand held blue laser.

now they are making lasers 30 times more powerful......do some fuckin research before you criticize this vid

  • it aint the most powerful, iv been watchin vids with lasers over 1000mw. n they r just as portable as this 1.

  • @defiant18

Those blue ones that are over 1,000mW are new. They just came out this past summer. Because a CASIO Laser projector was released with some of the most powerful blue diodes to date inside it.

Making it easy and affordable to finally have a powerful blue handheld laser.

It is however, a different wavelength that the laser in this video.

  • @trumansnare ..oh ok thanks mate, hope i can get 1 here in Oz

  • @frostywinter11

Ummm how to break this to you nicely??? You are wrong with the numbers. WAY wrong.

  • @dragonlasers No, no - he's totally right, although its 10,000Megawatts, or for purposes of this thread 10 trillion jigawatts. The moment you turn it on the lights around the planet dim (capacitor charging) then if fires! Upon firing, reality is swept into the corresponding vortex, resulting in a 'mirror dimension'! Hell, it happens all the time! Oh yeah, and it's FOCASABLE!!!!!!

  • @argonne007 Very imaginative :)

  • @frostywinter11 A 5000 megawatt laser would melt the fucking moon.

  • @frostywinter11 5 Gigawatts could power an entire city

  • @frostywinter11 its blue dumbass

  • @megasmart1337 i know its blue.

  • @frostywinter11 LoL,retard

  • How much are these and where can I buy one?

Also, whats the range in Ft/Metres?

  • @BillyXbox360 The new 447nm 1 watt models cost $239 from Dragonlasers

  • @dragonlasers Spyder III from wickedlasers is better that that...

  • @pizyt Hahaha what a joke.

The Sypder when it works averages around 800mW. The Spartan averages 1000-1100mW.

  • @pizyt But then you have to deal with their awful customer service... Not even kind of worth it.

  • is it a harmful tool against humans

  • Most powerful laser is the Spyder III by Arctic. Not the Spartan

  • thats not the most powerful blue laser. its the spyder iii pro 1000 megawatts or 1 gigawatt

  • @frostywinter11 You are half right. This laser is not the most powerful. The most powerful manufactured blue laser is the Spartan which averages a lot higher than the Arctic.

  • @dragonlasers

Is this a true blue (473) or is it a 445 like the spartan

And @frostywinter11 it's milliwatts (1/1000th of a watt) that handled lasers are measured in. 1 megawatt is a million watts

    The spartan is 700-1000 miliwatts

  • @dragonlasers Bullshit. Your site doesn't even include specifications for the new spartan you *claim* averages higher than the arctic.

Put them up, and maybe some videos of you testing the laser's power output.

And is this laser pulsed? You can see it happen during 0:45, when he moves it around. You can see a lot of "lines", as if it were pulsed at a high frequency.

  • @StopMotionMind True, we don't have specifications published.

Claims of higher performances are made by customers who have done comparisons.

The laser in this video is pulsed.

  • @frostywinter11 also its mili watts. 1000 of them equal one watt. Thats they they say 1000 mW or 1 W. not 1gw. Hahaha one giga watt would basically be a death ray

  • @frostywinter11

LOL! 100mW, or 1W. It's milliwatts, you dumbass! 1W is one watt. mW means milliwatts. What is wrong with you?

  • @frostywinter11 you mean 1000 miliwatts or 1 watt; for 1000 megawatts you need a fuckin' nuclear powerplant:)))))

  • its 1000 miliwatt 1 watt, 1 gigawatt could burn trough metal 1 watt can burn candles only

  • @laserfan17 What would 1 gigawatt do

  • @laserfan17 Fairly simple LASER physics - 10 watts ir cw using CO2 could cut through metal, but consider the tube dimensions and the power suply needed. LASERs are phenomenally inefficient. BTW a q switched 1 watt LASER, depending on medium used and frequency of the switching could easily cut through metal.

  • that must hurt for your eye's +.-

  • do the colors matter?

which one burns more, a green 40mw or blue 40mw?

isnt it the same? they´re both 40mw

  • @rodenrren2 basically both the same. The color of the target will make a difference.

  • @rodenrren2 a red^^

  • @rodenrren2

Buy a red laser. Green and blue are for show, usually fixed focus and don't work well in conditions that aren't ideal.

  • Not anymore u can get one thats 1 million mw: 1w its only 300$ you can get one 100mw for 98$

  • @Naurtopokemonmaster1 A milliwatt is a thousandth, you fucking moron.

  • '

willl that burn heat hot with 40mW blue laser

  • Now the force is with us!

  • The force is with you u now have the jedi lightsaber (O_O)

  • i want a cheap but powerfull burning red laser. any ideas?

  • @RebelPwnage try making one with a broken dvd burner

  • this isnt the most powerfull portable the SpyderIII pro arctic series is its 1000mw or 445nm

  • @KrimsonStormTV You are partly right. The most powerful blue portable lasers is the Spartan which has over 1 watt of power.

  • @dragonlasers COUGH WRONG :P over at LPF we are, and have been building >2W handheld 445nm lasers :P

  • you lie

  • This, is SPARTAN!! I may buy the 400mW blue Spartan I saw on your site but I'd be worried about splashing out on something that I know I don't really need. Another question, does your site automatically convert the prices of the products into the equivilant amount of the buyer's cuntry of origin? It's just I noticed that you only seem to show how much a product is in US$ and Euros.

  • @sillyplug Normally you pay online by credit card and our site will direct you to your credit card site. When you pay there, your credit card will automatically convert from your currency into US dollars.

  • a 1W laser kills this bitch xD

  • @hobbitg3 this is a 473nm laser not 445nm. 1W may kill this but the colour of this laser is alot bluer

  • my 8watt argon laser destroys this.

  • @MexicansLoveChrome post vids or ur 8w argon does not exist (and anyway I don't think you can fit your argon into a maglite sized host)

  • @MexicansLoveChrome is it portable?

  • But really, the Spyder III is a total hack It'll burn bright for a day, and then most consumers report failure after a day. Most people never got theirs.

  • NOT ANYMORE ! ! THANKS TO THE ARTIC SERIES 1 WATT LASER FROM WICKED LASERS

  • @dnavb OUR 1 WATT SPARTAN LASER IS ALSO MORE POWERFUL!!!

  • @dnavb lol troll

  • @dnavb Arctic is a piece of shit.. underspec, overpriced, delayed, rushed build, bad diverage, faulty technical specs. The Spartan 1W owns.

  • @Filmer1eX Well said. could not have put it better myself :)

  • @dilanisc I have one and yes they are good. I have a video of my laser if you want to see.

  • Most powerful....... up until july 2010 :p

  • @KrisKross010 It has not been the most powerful for a long time :)

  • @dragonlasers Well atleast as handhealds go then.....

  • Nice House !

  • Is a 30 mw class 3 b laser good

  • most powerful? you gotta be kidding me.

  • @crapgirlfilms At the time of publication, yes.

  • I wuld so mod that to be way more powerfull than it is mwahahaha!

  • this is not a laser pointer...

  • whoa nice color:)

  • why are lasers so expensive?

  • when can we see a demo of the spyder 3. i really am considering gettin one.

  • @jeffcon123 Don't bother. The spartan BP 50mW model is half the price of the Spartan III and almost twice as powerful.

  • lol, blue lasers r nothin compared to green ones, thats because the human i is most sensitive to the color green (for god knows y, litterly)

  • This is no longer accurate. WickedLasers has a 1W spyder III pro blue laser. Not dissin' you guys, just puttin out there. Maybe you guys should put out a 5W one.

  • @blackshadowbass True, the most powerful statement is out of date.

The Spider III is 445nm and the sonar is 405nm. Their most powerful 473nm is 30mW so the Spartan is still more powerul.

  • @blackshadowbass

Just bought it! Can't wait to get it!

  • @Multilasers1 When you do, let me know how it is. I really want to buy one, but I don't know if it's worth the money.

  • @blackshadowbass and i bet you any money that 445nm blue laser from wicked lasers will fuck up on u in no time. at the price there selling it at is cant be good quality esspecially if its wicked lasers...... though the 445nm laser will look kooler than the 473nm. in conclusion, wicked lasers are dickheads

  • @SPLmaniac Yeah, Luckily, I've never purchased from WL and I will not in the future.

  • The laser is wonderful! What is the music???

  • @DaireBoldizsar read the video info

DJ Liquid - I close my eyes (techno trance remix)

  • with this lazer can you actually see the beam or is it just really dusty plz respond

  • @ryand202 You can clearly see the beam of this laser in the dark or under artificial light. Dust helps but it is not necessary.

  • @dragonlasers

omg, light beam can't be seen without particles in the air, it's obvious

  • @Diatomus Tell that to starwars producers :)

  • @dragonlasers

i bet they know it without me telling them

  • is it blue or UV? I saw this UV laser at this cigar store, it was rated at ~100mw , didn't even made my skin feel warm

  • @TiagoTiagoT This is blue 473nm. You will not feel heat from UV lasers but they can cause skin cancer like the sun

  • @dragonlasers what i meant is that even at 100mw it wasn't powerful enough to heat anything

  • @dragonlasers btw, it's not all UV radiation that causes skin cancer, only certain frequency ranges

  • @TiagoTiagoT you cant see UV with the naked eye!

  • @gangstar1771 depends on the exact frequency, and on whether what is being hit by UV is or isn't fluorescent/phosphorescent

  • @gangstar1771 also depends on whether the UV source also emits some near UV radiation, just about all UV leds and lamps i've seen do, lasers too

  • does anyone know how i can buy a cheap one from the source then mod it to be extremely powerful?

  • this laser isnt powerful!!!!!!!!!

  • -- Q: Which is better to have in regards to range, the green Hulks or these blue thingees?

  • @MikeSPx24bj9 The green Hulk is definitely MUCH better in regards to range than this blue laser.

  • Not the most powerful anymore.

  • Comment removed

  • $500 base price?

    Good luck.

  • Base price for lasers is $100

  • @dragonlasers what do you think would happened if you shined an ir laser through a crystal?

  • @penpen78 Hard to say, depends on the type of crystal.

  • Good. I need to find a red one to my W/AV M6 G/GNR project.

  • The Death Star used green ones cos the blue wern't powerful enough ;)

  • Lmao ... the most powerful lasers around are for military use only and they're a Chemical Laser ... nothing like consumer lasers you can buy on the market ....

Lol too many stupids and ignorants on youtube ... we need a 4chan style culling.

  • i know this 1 tri gw laser is only for the military use and yes its also a chemical type of laser

  • he said most powerful BLUE laser not laser in the world

  • @fuema most powerful BLUE, dude. those C.O.I.L. lasers used by the military are IR.

  • you better go back to that hole where came from (4chan)

  • ive seen a 1 trillion gw laser, so powerful, it can destroy a star O.o

  • lol?

no..no lazer can destory a star

  • well yes they can lol, u know how much 1 trillion gw is???????? its very strong of the temputure of about 60 ~ 1billion degrees F

  • @lovelylamp you mean its point and byebye whatever u were =|

  • @lovelylamp could be in fututre will be a laser war lol :)

  • @lovelylamp um yea your lying

  • @lovelylamp Isnt that what the death star used?

  • @qwerty6222qwerty Death Star was green... and I dont think dragonlasers can make one that powerful :D
