Amazon now has it for $14.99 shipped. Is the horn louder than I'm hearing on youtube. Seems sorta weak or maybe it's just your microphone. Not sure whether to get it or not.
I got one from amazon but I found if I mounted it vertically it would give the chirping tone, but if it was horizontal it would be a solid tone Now I've had it mounted horizontally so long it won't chirp anymore, just solid. No complains though, it's a great little "horn!"
Do you know of any other horns like this for a bike? same type of sound or somthing bit like it or more loud? I want a horn that doesn't sound kidish or dumb. One in this video is very nice. Sounds more like something a police bike would have :)
I got one of these on my mountain bike. It scares just about everyone who hears it. One time I used it to alert my friends of my presence and they thought I was a cop. (Coincidentally, some police do use this).
It's nearly as loud as a typical car horn. It's loud enough to alert stupid or impaired drivers who could potentially run me over. Also useful going downhill on a trail with hikers.....
I have one just like it. LOUD as all get out! Indoors it hurts my ears!! Would drown out any smoke detector alarm!
