vdc is a japanese version of abs. which is like tcs, or traction control system. it just allows the tires to break at high speeds without locking the tires up.

he shouldve used manual sport mode, you get all your Rs =) I have a g37 also and when i race, i never use DS or D mode, they suck in comparison

well it states that you get the max horsepower at 7k rpm but its best to get the most rpm out of each shift, plus you feel like you are more in control, while in DS mode, you have to Floor it to get all the RPMs at 3-5th gear. Also, the driver in the vid shouldve drove with half a tank of gas or less, but nonetheless, he did a good job =)

no its not the best if you let it reach all RPM..After peak hp output you will only loose speed you could make up by changing the gear at the best time which in this car its at 7200RPM...

I can tell you that just by listening to the engine sound,believe me it works
