Well, this is the first television series that I have seen from beginning to end. I must say it was good (except for some things). But all in all, it was good. And who knows? Maybe there will be a great demand for SGU in the future.

Well I just saw this episode and it really made me mad! I mean, there is SOO much left that we don't know! Like those aliens that wanted Destiny so badly, Destiny finally getting to where it needed to go, and the episode completely ended in a cliffhanger! We will now never know if all the crew in stasis is even going to make it! Thanks a lot critics who caused the show to end short!

@RainforceZwei When it takes two seasons to become interesting, you're doing something wrong. Just face it, they messed up. Just to be clear: Apart it's not only about it nog being SG. It's also that what they tried to do, they did quite bad. It didn't appeal to the scifi lovers, and as a drama it failed big time and just didn't rise above the level of those Billy Blanks B-movies. They tried to be BSG and as a result roduced a sucky show that only became cool when they went back to the SG roots.

@tamuta3 Serves folks like you right because you wanted your typical sci fi geekfest and couldn't handle the exploration of the human condition and relationships. That stuff was "boring" to you. TPTB were trying to bring an adult approach to this franchise and was building up the characters during the way. The only reason why these most recent eps are so effective is because we were allowed to see these characters grow and trust one another.

SG:U sucked ass for more reasons than just not being Stargate anymore. In the last few episode it became Stargate again with everything that goes with it and thus what we wanted SG:U to be all along.

@kenjuma SGU is what the franchise needed. Sg-1/SGA were excellent (apart from season 8/1) but the formulae is was 12 years old when they ended those series. The tv film sequels where still worth watching but that particular TV sci-fi format has been done to death and should left alone for a while.

SGU was everything I found appealing and different about new Battlestar Galactica but done better and with a Startrek voyager twist.

It sucked that much in my opinion. It tried to imitate the new BGA, and failed at it very hard. And in terms of character and scenario development it didn't even come close to ST Voyager.

No one is claiming that there shouldn't be a change. But that doesn't mean that every other option is good.

@kenjuma If you think SGU was meant to be a space battle series then you obviously missed the point of the show. There have been a handful of space conflicts in the show because given the setting running into a hostile alien race is too likely a scenario not be explored in the series. The primary focus has also been character interaction to a greater degree the Voyager or Battle star galactica. SGU even does what the others couldn't which explore how people cope lost in space without training

If i want to see the exploration of human relationships I watch desperate Houswifes or Godfather but not SGU . In my opinion the exploration of the universe and all its secrets and inhabitants is much more intresting than some human relationships . If you want the mysteries of human relationships you have to know yourself before you judge others

By the way until further notice i REFUSE to believe stargate is beeing canceled, they said there would be no more after SGA, we got SGU, now god dam it even THOUGH sci fi , renamed syfy so they could air wrestling to increase viewers.
