  • damn stock engine d16 at 22psi shit that pistons would melt

  • damn dude that was bad the engine block almost exploded

  • song?

  • too many damn videos of people blowing up a civic engine...

  • Dammmmmmm! Game over for the d16. You were pushing too much boost for the internals to handle. The d-series engines are cheap nowadays, so its not a big loss.

Oh well, time for an upgrade. Get a K-series motor and you'll be king of the hill.

  • ahhhhh not to worry about it...just stick a new motor in it...b series or any other type of series will do...

  • engines for civics are not that big of a deal, u can still use all your turbo parts and some of the engine parts for ur next motor....

  • is that ebay turbo kit? kinda looks like it

  • soch or dohc both are good with turbo....sleeved just means the cylinder bores are taken care of, u need new rods and pistons to go with that

  • Sleeved means that the open deck design of a honda motor is reinforced with cast iron sleeves instead of the material honda uses in their motors for the cylinder walls. Cast iron will hold a lot more pressure than the stock walls. You don't always need new pistons and rods for it. I was running a stock internal b17, just sleeved with ITR pistons, except same rod length/stroke.

  • what else did you expect with stock internals boosting at 20+psi,..especially on a SOHC engine.

  • im guessin it wasnt sleeved
