Making music inspired, and/or similar to Dream Theater normally results in absolute brilliance. Symphony X is not nearly as artistic as DT, but their really nice to listen to, namely 'The Divine Wings of Tragedy.' and Bad Salad (what the fuck's with the name?) looks to be a band on the rise. I look forward to seeing them progress and developing their own style.

As you guys continue on, try to develop your "own sound" a little more. Obviously, you are heavily influenced by DT--which is cool, but your tone and sound is SO similar that people might mistake YOU for THEM! If you want to have a long career--it's very important to be somewhat unique. I know you can do it!

Though the fact they are reasonably large DT fans is kind of present in song structure but as you said its not like a DT wannabe track (this or crowded sky) this is unique i feel and i think you'd agree! But the "tone" thing i would slightly agree on as they use the same gear but its not a straight rip either. These guys get the "DT-ish" label as they do covers i think! (Partly, imho)

The individual parts are nice, but the song is sort of missing a plot and perhaps too many different things were crammed into one song. While they may all work separately, perhaps breaking them up into separate songs and then writing around those parts would make it better for me. Now I get the same feeling as when I'm listening to The Ministry of Lost Souls: halfway through the song I think "where the heck am I? Did I miss the last few minutes?". You guys have the creativity to go far, though.

Good song, epic melodies, memorable riffs and moments, but, the sound and the whole feel of the band is just too much Dream Theater, the whole idea of the band and the 2 songs released are something that I have heard before, a lot of times.

You guys should try differents things and experiment with different kinds of music, to keep the real Prog feel alive, because prog is not (only) about intricate playing, complex structures and signature time changes, is about "moving forward" musically.

Can't decide if the best one is Crowded Sky or Nemesis. I think both of them are real PROG and musically rich. No doubt Bad Salad is going to be the future of Progressive Music, probably one of the best bands of this genres. Can't wait for you to finish the album :D keep up the good work.

Oh, and BTW, if you ever get to tour on Mexico (specifically to Monterrey), be sure that you'll have a big audience waiting for you... including me!

Crowded Sky was just a great song. It hits you right in the face with the word go. But this one, this one has real elements of psychedelic rock, along with the progressiveness. That is obvious. But the vocals have a totally different approach, like the aggressive vocals on the main chorus of the song ( "Could this be my Nemesis" ). Guitars and Keyboards were much better, according to be coz simply, this song was more about feel, and less of shredding. A really "complete" song.
