The angels are everywhere. this is one of the villains that gave me night mares for weeks just for watching that episode. the silence was only for a week so that i saw how to stop them. but the weeping angles there is only one way to stop them and that chance is only once. dump them into the light of nonexistence. other than that there is no way to stop them.

@joaniebaloney96 I can't remember the exact term, I think it is quantom lock... So the angels are only alive when no ones looking, when someone sees them they turn to stone. Which means when Amy pretended to see them, the angels should have known she was blind because they were conscious... If she could really see them, they would be stone. But they were not stone, they were angels, so they should have known:P

The Doctor used this concept to trick four angels into watching each other in "Blink" (Season 3).

If you pay close attention to the beginning of "Time of Angels" when Amy is watching the looped security footage of an angel, the angel begins to come out of the screen but it flickers with each skip of the footage.

@YippieKahYay No, two angels. One physical and one digital/ projected onto the screen. The physical one prevents the digital one from moving on its own accord. If nobody was watching the screen, the angel on it would be free to move. For example, if there would be people in the security footage but nobody was watching it playing, the angel on the screen would behave like a regular angel because the people on the screen with it aren't actually seeing it. Good luck catching Moffat!
