  • What a great, simple riff!

  • studio version...always too slow :P

  • Περίφανος που είσαι από Ελλάδα, ε? =) \m/

  • halford is epic in this song

  • the guitars on this song rock out like no other it goes to show that judas priest our true defenders of the faith. (84)

  • love the european version of this album cover better than the american version .

  • Admiral you got it spot on.

  • I don't like to see people call themselves JP fans but only know that one song "Breaking the Law". (Don't get me wrong, it's one of the greatest songs ever recorded!) There's so much more to Priest than their one big hit. Explore deeper into the band's discography, and you never know what classics you might find!

  • When I drove back this evening, one ch, just played 70' and 80' rock.... some from Point of entry,,, and this one... took memories back

  • 8=====D from desert plains i bring you "me" bb..

  • <3

  • terastio

  • I got this album right at the same time I moved to California...... I forgot how cool this tune was and what it meant to me. Thanks for posting.

  • It's summer here in latin america! time to get a bike and travel to the sound of this great song.

  • @jugulatorable right on hermano. q ganas de devorar carretera

  • just saw them in concert in San Antonio TX and it was a great show. Glad I finally got to see them.

  • the album is not as great as British Steel, but it is still a badass album

god i love Judas Priest, that's unbelievable

  • This songs conjures the majestic loneliness found roaming the Desert Plains. endless nights and then the happiness of finally finding someone to love among the desolation.

  • Priest are the METAL GODS, sad that KK left the band though, he'll be hard to replace. Helford has the best voice I've ever heard.

  • ela re elladara!!! groupara oi judas dn 8a ksanavgei allh!!respect...

  • Good tune...but I still like Iron Savior's cover much better.

  • By far their best album....Hands down

  • My version of Point of Entry had a different cover!

  • @Marcoshary you have US/JAPAN artwook

    this is the Europa Cover

  • @kairumon Oh ok. Thank you.

  • @Marcoshary My version has the long line of tractor fed computer paper going towards the horizon. Judas Priest rocks!

  • I born in the wrong generation --'

  • @idontcare161 lol amen to that me too!

  • I love this tune and this album was WAY underrated as far as I'm concerned. Desert Plains, Hot Rockin', Troubleshooter, On The Run, Solar Angels, and of course Heading Out To The Highway are friggin' classics! God bless the Priest and their fans!!!! This is TRUE Heavy Metal!

  • @Upperhand77 The album is a total fucking gem! The way this song ends on the key change makes it awesome.

  • super chanson

  • I live on the road I Love this Song!!!! LONG LIVE THE PRIEST!!!

  • another epic song from an epic band

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!

  • i adore the drum fill at 1:19 i think it represents the thunder that is described in the lyrics, such an underatted but AWESOME song, one of my favorites.

  • @JoshGoldie YES! Those drum fills sounds absolutely amazing. This song is just pure perfection.

  • Hell Yeah, A priest fan since 14, Priest is the sound track to the best of my days. Will stay with me forever 42 now fan forever.

  • I saw these headbangers in San Antonio in '82. My ears are still ringing! It was the loudest damn show I'd ever seen before or since. I counted 36 Marshall cabinets just on the stage not including what was hanging above the stage. Marvelous!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this song just grooves!!! good composition.

i saw priest live at the US festival 83 with my high school buds. we didn't know how lucky we were then. do now.

  • I used to listen to this on 8-track tape!

  • havent heard this in mega years hail the priest

  • I could give a FUCK less wether I offend the the simpering, squalling PC twats of the world. I want to.

Hail Metal, in it's full glory. Fuck the rest.

  • Oh, wow.. Its' been well over 20 years since I've heard this song and It's still one of the coolest ever... Thanks for posting this.

  • great upload. word of caution - don't add it to a playlist - you'll get only so far and then this nasty msg covers the video commanding you to not add to playlist and watch it as a STAND ALONE.

  • THUMPS up for EPIC.

  • ωραίο το τραγουδάκι που ανέβασες :)

  • I love the overdubbed tom fills throughout the song. I feel the band had something really special with Dave Holland, but if you think about it would the Painkiller album be the as good without Scott Travis' double bass?

  • I just think the song was a little over produced...... I'm not a producer but am a guitar player and it is just to over done .... great song though I remember listening to it while four wheel climbing in my friends truck...

  • Metal as it used to be, won't ever be the same, but it's nice to be nostalgic in your old age..........Maybe it's stagnating, remember thinking that about the old man and his Elvis, now I'm there...Nature of things I guess.

  • No UK, No Metal. All hail the UK's !

  • Point of Entry has to be one of the most under-rated albums of all time...

  • @xshalludiex As was Sad Wings.

  • @halofan97

I think among the hardcore fans it is probably the favorite, but for the newbies who have yet to discover their older material it is.

  • is the best metal band ever from uk!

  • Even though this song isn't as hard or heavy as their other stuff, this song has made my lady friend fall in love with me back in the mid-nineties, after hearing this track just once. Judas Priest Rules Supreme!!!

  • 0 dislikes

    that's what im talkin about.

  • best song ever god i wish i was born earlier

  • best song ever

  • On 4/22/11 K.K. Downing quit Priest.

    It Sucks to be Us(fans)!

  • I love the way it goes to a higher key and trails off at the end...one of my top 3 JP songs...

    1) Metal Gods

    2) Solar Angels

    3) Desert Plains

  • @careing57587 Have you forgot "victim of changes and the green manalish" ??

  • @careing57587 Have you forgot "victim of changes and the green manalish" ??

  • Best Priest Tune.. I LOVE IT!!!

  • this is Fucking Awasome!! I could listen to Judas Priest and never get tried of it!! I admire old school heavy metal artist. merciful fate, king diamond, slayer, iron maiden, old black sabbath, motorhead. i can go on! we need more hardcore metal!! we need more rulebreakers!! and hellraisers!! i may be 24 years old, but i know good music when i hear it!! and this is Good!!

  • FUckingLOVE LOVETHISTUNE.... Espically when i am on mymotorcycle/.. this goes through my head..... espically the lines: My body aches but i'll not rest....DAMN that just sends chills down my spine!

  • @harveydents Hell Yeah ! What about "The Engine Roars Between My Thighs" !!AWESOME !! Peace Ye`all !!

  • I didn't know there was a different cover in the UK.

  • @gunnyhighway99 yeah i know...i prefer their's to ours...so i photocopied the Brit Cover and inserted in mine!

  • Great song.

  • I like this cover alot more than the other one (I think this is the EU cover?)

  • @HankHillC3H8 This is the UK cover

  • What great lyrics defining a passion for the one he loves.(yeah, I know). The only thing I would have changed is the solo for this song. It just doesn't go with the rest of the song. i too bought this when it came out in '81. Them were some good days my friends.

  • THE ABSOLUTE OPEN ROAD DRIVING SONG EVER, BABY !

    δώσε re deviser..!

  • This was my main band back in the early 80's and they still dominate over most rock.

  • You say Lady Gaga, I say Motorhead

You say Hannah Montana, I say AC/DC

You say Owl City, I say Judas Priest

You say Jonas Brothers, I say Ronnie James Dio

You say Justin Bieber, I say Iron Maiden

You say Taylor Swift, I say Black Sabbath

95% of teens these days listen to the same crappy pop over and over again. If you're one of the 5% who still listens to real music, thumb this up, then copy & paste it to at least five videos. Don't let the spirit of rock and roll die

  • @SaxonGR epic i agree

  • Maybe Priest's most underrated song EVER!

  • put the lyrics back up. when there is no video, i'd like to read the lyrics. i hope guitar hero never has this song, or VEVO!!! point of entry sucked, but this is Judas Priest BEST song

  • @TheLoke666 is is cos you are one?

  • Point of Entry is one of my least vavorite Priest albums, but Desert Plains is one of my favorite priest songs.

  • best cncert ever priest in the tacoma dome turbo tour even better than matllica at monters of rock kingdome 87

  • @TheLoke666 I agree

  • this is my Favorited song by Judas Priest, but they are not gods. They are humans. They are nowhere near gods, demigods, demons, etc. there humans

  • The Gods of All Metal... Nothing in the world can ever come close to matching them.

No matter the song or what decade it first appeared, Judas Priest surpasses all others...

    Thanks for posting this.

  • I couldn't get enough of the deep rolling thunder and power of this tune back in highschool in the 70s/early 80s. Wore out God knows how many copies on vinyl & cassette! Ahhh, the era before radical PC totalitarianism! We partied like maniacs, cruising, picking up chicks, getting in fights etc. If we got busted, we sucked it up & dealt with it like men. Hell, you say one thing wrong to offend someone in the states now & it's a full blown crisis!

    Thanks for sharing man

    Peace!

  • @redfishradical

Love what you wrote about the old days killed this vinyl still blast it now and then and think back to drinking and partying .Hey it was all good ..Stay Well my friend,,, VIn

  • @redfishradical ...I know what you mean. Man, it was the days of going to see some of the best concerts ever with some of the best people we'd ever know. After school, putting this on the stereo & trying to figure out every note on the guitar, girls always around wanting to party just as much & most could party pretty damned hard at that. Getting busted was just a part of it half of the time. Not intentional & we lived with it. I'll say it,....I do miss those days.

  • Terrific song, more people need to be listening to this shittt

  • <3

  • this is my favorite song of judas, i love this song:) ill share to my friends so they can enjoy of this jewel :)
