this is a great song by jerry goldsmith. it sounds very inspiring, its a song that tributes to somebody overcoming the obstacles and achieving success like in the movie rudy, a guy who is 5'6 and was too small to play college football, and he overcame the obstacles and showed great toughness along with it.

This movie is really inspirational, feel good. And it is not cheapened by nudity or Mission Impossible lack of plot.
I remember another movie called 'Hidalgo' with Viggo Mortinson where they could have put a gratuitous nudity scene in one spot, but wisely and graciously chose not to and kept to the plot.

I first saw this move one year ago in high school. It literally inspired me to apply to Notre Dame, I was fortunate enough to be admitted a week ago. This movie is one of the main reasons I'm going to be a Domer this fall.

Notre Dame is 8-2 all-time against the Longhorns, a small, private, Catholic, university, in South Bend Indiana, has the most National Championships and Heisman winners, than any other Division I school, in the largest sport in the NCAA, absolutely amazing! "there's a spirit at Notre Dame that you either get or you don't for those touched by it, it is something very special."
The education one receives at Notre Dame is extremely demanding. School comes first at Notre Dame, then football unlike athletes at other major universities where they major in sociology or basketweaving just to get through.
Um, the inspiration for the movie, Daniel Ruettiger, actually majored in Sociology at Notre Dame. So regardless what you bleed, I think athletes at all universities get a little leeway when it comes to their studies.

I agree that all student athletes are given leeway here and there, however comparing Notre Dame and USC on a athletic academic basis...Notre Dame takes the win, and has a much better academic standing then USC. I first saw this move one year ago in high school. It literally inspired me to apply to Notre Dame, I was fortunate enough to be admitted a week ago. This movie is one of the main reasons I'm going to be a Domer this fall.

Good for you! I have a couple years of high school left, I'm going to be a junior next year. I hope I can get in to a university that has great tradations like Notre Dame, I have the grades to get in a university like Notre Dame.

The composer is Jerry Glodsmith. He composed the entire music for the movie. I bought it on itunes....I swear, the music to this movie makes it that much better

pumpkins... if this movies sends shivers down your spine, just wait till you've been on campus. i have been to all parts but the best was the locker room, just imagine walking where all those legends walked, seeing all the rings and trophies truly amazing. and the tear to the eye. during one camp, we were practicing and the sun set right below the dome, i mean the lady just pierced the sun. we all stopped and prayed. most beautiful sight i have ever seen

The education one receives at Notre Dame is extremely demanding. School comes first at Notre Dame, then football unlike athletes at other major universities where they major in sociology or basketweaving just to get through.

Um, the inspiration for the movie, Daniel Ruettiger, actually majored in Sociology at Notre Dame. So regardless what you bleed, I think athletes at all universities get a little leeway when it comes to their studies.

Exactly! If you remember it took him a very long time to get in, even with a major of a low caliber. I agree that all student athletes are given leeway here and there, however comparing Notre Dame and USC on a athletic academic basis...Notre Dame takes the win, and has a much better academic standing then USC. THAT IS NOT TO SAY THAT ALL USC ATHLETES DONT TAKE TOUGH MAJORS, OR THAT USC IS EASY, my point is that Notre Dame's standards are higher. But yes leeway is given
