@TrutherWoman - I agree that most performers today cannot match either the commitment, artistry or technique of these two amazing artists. But there is hope - check out the recent posts on youtube about Sondra Radvanovsky's Aida.... but apart, maybe, from Kaufmann I don't see a Verdi tenor of similar quality..... has anyone out there heard such a tenor recently ?
