I've got a great old Decca recording of the "reorganized" Dorsey Brothers bands, with surviving members recording all the tunes from the brothers. On this one, they played it in a meter which was just a smidge quicker and boy did it ever swing! And of course the surviving members soloing and blowing just like they did years ago. Excellent.
Yes, the beginning is amazing and another thing I love about this song is that it sounds like several different songs at once. This is still the best version of it.
