  • I love the Music of the fourties

  • I've got a great old Decca recording of the "reorganized" Dorsey Brothers bands, with surviving members recording all the tunes from the brothers. On this one, they played it in a meter which was just a smidge quicker and boy did it ever swing! And of course the surviving members soloing and blowing just like they did years ago. Excellent.

  • The vocals are by the Clark Sisters aka The Sentimentalists......I love this version!

  • These aren't the Andrews

  • The Boswell Sisters could knock the Andrews Sisters into a cocked hat!

  • Yes, the beginning is amazing and another thing I love about this song is that it sounds like several different songs at once. This is still the best version of it.

  • the most amazing begining that any piece of music has! Instantely recognisable. It's TOMMY DORSEY!
