I'm on Rebif, but the Auto-inject is very similar. The rubber band would be very helpful for doing it in my arm, since I can't push the two parts together plus push the release button at the same time! I usually have my hubby help me--I hold and control how hard it's pressing down, and he pushes the button when I'm ready. I also sit in a chair and push my arm along the top of the chair to push the chub up and then inject it there. Thanks for the tip!
I just injected Copaxone for the sixth time as of today. Anyway, thank you so much for making this video! It's been a big help, especially for the arm and hip areas.
I am so glad I saw this video! I have been on copaxone over a year and I have been putting my arm in a really awkward position. I never thought to cross my arm across my chest. I am on my arm tonight so I will try it. Thanks!!
Hi, I noticed that you didn't remove the air bubble from the Copaxone syringe. My MS specialist advised me that his patients generally have fewer site reactions/problems once the air bubble has been removed (be careful not to squeeze out too much fluid in the process). I remove the air bubble and usually inject into my stomach/hips, with no injection problems. I feel a slight burning about 90 seconds after the injection for only a few minutes. Feel free to contact me if I can be of help.
@ThePennygirl You are so brave to inject yourself in the rear end. When I first started Rebif, I decided to have my fiance inject me there b/c I figured since rear ends have padding, it wouldn't hurt as bad. BOY WAS I WRONG (well for me anyway). For me, it hurt the worst there (and I have a little junk in my trunk).

thank you for sharing. I'm going to start using copaxone in few days hopefully. Does it make the shaking and numbness go away?
