@bryanbisordi Simple, instead of using a mono jack for the output jack, use a stereo jack. Connect both of the signal connections of the stereo jack together and you'll have two connections from the stereo jack and in this way it will be easier to connect to the rest of the circuit. :)
@david99soad What if I wanted stereo in AND stereo out? The idea is to have a "headphone" kill switch. I'm a drummer and want to be able to count off a tune with click then kill the click after the song has started. Would this still work? I guess I want it stereo in case I want to kill a backing track as well.
@bryanbisordi Yes it would still work. Just do the same for the input jack as I said for the output stereo jack (ie. use a stereo jack for input and connect as I said previously).
@robYCFC if the circuit is like mine ie: 4:07 , you can try connect the switch to ground (ie: when the switch is on kill mode, the signal is going to ground). If it includes any other circuits example an led circuit, it might be interference with the signal from the input of the killswitch pedal.
@david99soad (cont'd): if that is the case then do shielding around the other circuit and connect that shielding to ground (note: if i didn't respond well to your question pls do a video response about it so I and other youtube users can help).
One question, though: what is the point of having a kill switch pedal? Aren't you supposed to be able to switch the signal between on & off really fast?
@maksimovicgoran i'm using this so that i can mute the signal after a song or between songs. This switch is just there so that i won't need to turn down the volume knob on my guitar. To switch the signal on and off really fast i have a pedal that can do that.
Sry I didnt say @david99soad

Hey, great video. How would make one in stereo? I'm a drummer and want to be able to kill in-ear monitoring with a foot switch.
Thanks

I'm definitely new to this, since I just had this idea, so any help is very appreciate!

and box?
atomicfile2 5 months ago
@atomicfile2 The push switch and box from any electronics store (eg: RadioShack). The box is called a 'project box'.

where can i get the push switch

I made one similar to that but got a lot of buzzing sound with it. do I need any specific type of wire?

would i need to power this pedal or not?
marlinm60ss123 7 months ago
@marlinm60ss123 for this pedal no because it switches on or off the signal connection. Pause video at: 4:07 for reference.

@david99soad ok thanks. im going to home depot tomorrow

Thanks alot. I want one for the same reason but am going to try to put in an led.

@Gibsonmanner Cheers :) including an led is a cool idea.

I, personally, couldn't do it with my foot.
