recoil to a .270 is predecet...not too much and at the same time it is no wimp, but as long as you seat and rifle firmly into your shoulder the rifle will push you instead of hit you

@backintack Hi, i was wondering what the recoil is like compared to that of a 7.62x54 mosin nagant. I know it's going to be less, but i really like the 270. The rounds are a little cheaper, the gun has some kick, good for small to medium size game. Thank you

@Fisherguy28 yes it will be a little less but it is capable of taking down large game such as elk and moose.
