Thanks for the review. I'm contemplating either this headband for my Surefire L2, or just getting a Petzl Tactikka XP.
I'm wondering if the Surefire would incinerate my head after extended use. LOL! :)

You asked about hiking with the Tactikka XP, so assuming that here.. I'd suggest the Tactikka over this combo..
This headband is a good 'quick' headband thats easy to carry around, but I wouldn't want to wear it for a long time
