  • Does Nick Hammond uses the Takuya's "Spider Bracelet" too

  • Thankyou for uploading!..its been 21 years! I remember being 6yrs old and seeing Joanna Cameron in that white bikini..i knew from that day i was gonna grow up Straight as an arrow! :D

  • that's some impressive CGI

  • He was a great Peter Parker I still like the show too! But you got to be a spidy fan

  • nick hammond was a great peter parkerr, i still enjoy this show

  • Stan Lee was right to dislike this show. No wisecracks, barely any web usage. Nick Hammond was good, but this show could have been better.

  • @TheKingOfRuckus That and he was easily overpowered

  • I didn't know spiderman could jump 40ft straight up

  • at least he has web shooters unlike the 2002 version

  • I always liked Robert F. Simon as Mr. Jameson.

  • anos 70 era feliz é não sabia....

  • sorry 6:48 she says 3 o'cock instead of 3'o clock

  • sorry 6:49 she says 3 o'cock instead of 3'o clock

  • 6:449 she says 3 o'cock instead of 3'o clock

  • Plz put this on Netflix streaming :-)

  • i remember watching this. i WISH they would put this show back on the air. this show was GREAT! (younger generation may not agree)

  • This is not Spider-man, it's Flash Thompson. Jumping into hay, can't even knock a normal strength human with a punch is sad.

The REAL Spider-Man is super strong and can lift buses and cars and toss them.

  • if spiderman was done right he would have kicked the fellas ass first time round due to his powers but sadly it was wrong

  • Not bad. I thought it was alright when I was a kid. Didn't notice the New York skyline looks more like L.A..Spidy shoots webs from BOTH hands though, and is way stronger.Supposed to lift something like 40 x's his weight. Guess they tamed him down in light of no super villans like Doc Oc or the Goblin.

  • over here in the uk the tv movies were shown in the cinema's, and we didnt get the series till 1981, but i loved it and i also loved the music.

  • for the time it was the best thing eva

  • THIS SPIDER-MAN IS SORRY. I CAN DO MORE THAN HIM. AS AN AVID SPIDER-MAN FAN I KNOW ALL ABOUT HIS POWERS IE: SPIDER SENSE, AGILITY, STRENGTH ETC AND THIS FLAKEY SERIES DOES THE CHARACTER NO JUSTICE.

  • This is some really innovative use of reverse shooting for it's time. I'm a film maker today, and I'm impressed! These guys were amazing!

  • hot bebe in a bikini

  • this is actually pretty good for a 70s show...

  • 2:06 .. o fuckk... my iPod

  • Loving the Bruce Lee movie sound effects!!

  • LOL

  • A telefilm super inconsistent.

  • How come joanna cameron is not becoming isis LOL

  • Spiderman=Chuck Norris!!!!!

  • All the 40 year olds are zoning out right now remembering this show!!

  • Yeah he created web fluid the way a spider does, he just put it in the capsules. Honestly how do you think he did it? He spun the web out of his ass.

  • Remember spidey fans, this tv series (as well as the comics) INSPIRED Sam Raimi to make the modern spiderman films as great and entertaining as they are, thanks '70'S SPIDEY ! :) :P

  • THE IDEA of Peter Parkers total "genetic" transformation which would give him real spider web ablility instead of artificial bracelet propllant is a "leftover" from Jmes Camerons original screenplay/treatment, it was so good it ended up in the final draft of the film we saw in the theatres, would have been interesting to see James Camerons film.......but i do love Sam Raimi's version/s, i loved the 70's tv version too, still excites me as it did when i was just a young Spidey in the making, lol.

  • Nick Hammond was AWESOME as Spider-Man. I used to LOVE this show as a kid! It is too bad that his costume and all the special effects could not have been as good as what Tobey Macguire got to use decades later. LOL

  • The fight scenes are badly choreographed and camp but the rest is actually still pretty effective. I wishe theyd bring this out on DVd

  • The only thing missing from this show was fucking Sho Kosugi as a badguy. Add a couple of ninjas and it would have been off the hook!

  • I really liked the TV show but I was always disappointed at how weak they made him.

He was either getting his ass kicked by a bunch of nobodies or having trouble entering a building because........the door was locked!

  • i like how it just starts with random fight scene XD

  • why does the thug seem like a martial artist?

  • I love how Spiderman (who can lift a frickin' city bus over his head and fight toe-to-toe with Venom) is struggling to deal with two common thugs.

This is promptly followed up by something Spiderman could never do, by jumping out of a chopper a mile above the city and webbing his way over to another chopper in the sky.

    Way to keep it balanced.

  • Wow! Any opportunity to see Joanna Cameron in a bikini back in the day was great!

  • where the hell is his superhuman strength he should have no problem with these fuckers

  • ahh the 70's

  • The Electric Company Spider Man was much better than this clown.

  • This is absolutely horrible....and as Stan Lee would put it: :" 'Nuff said...."

  • i have got this on video watched it alot as a kid

  • Forgive me If I'm wrong but wasn't Spiderman set in New York not Los Angeles?

  • @mintwithahole Spiderman and Los Angeles? Good grief, seriously, no offense... but you should be shot for saying that... and I can't forgive you.

  • @mintwithahole Yeah. Yeah he is. This movie was filmed in Los Angeles though.

  • Yes. Even I don't recall Spiderman ever running away as he fights with the bad guys. Pretty weak image. He could have easily used his agility and speed to beat guys like this.

  • all he does is run..gay

  • this is actually pretty nice never thought spider-man had a real life TV show

  • I remember watching the pilot/movie on VHS as a kid in the 80's. Apparently all the episodes were released on tape in the 80's and then again in the 90's. Sony pictures should remaster and release them on DVD. Major retro cheese cache factor. I'd prefer this to watching Toby Spidey anyday.

  • I would rather die from starvation than have to be punished to death by this....

  • The two part episode "The Deadly Dust." Not much imagination with the bad guys. Spiderman should have been battling The Enforcers in this one. They were a group of criminals with eccentric talents. Fancy Dan was a martial artist, Montana Joe was a cowboy with a lethal lasso, and Ox was a hulking brute with incredible strength. The leader could have worn a mask and called himself The Crimemaster. There were some comic book villains minus super powers they could have used.

  • WTF SPIDERMAN NEVER FUCKING RUNNS AWAY 1:22

  • Uh, it was the SEVENTIES people. It's like trying to compare the original Star Trek to the Star Trek movies that came out in the new millenium or comparing Atari 2600 to PS3. Looking back, it was cheesy but that's only due to how advanced technology has become. For its time, this series was pretty good.

  • the best of the best!!!

  • As bad as it is, I still like it more than Spider-Man 3... At least he doesn't spend half the movie crying in an emo haircut, talking about how good his costume... um.. feels... and no freakin' dancing for God's sake. And Joanna Cameron... whether she was MJ or not, was WAY hotter than Kirsten Dunst.

  • My God, this is even worse than I remembered it being. But Joanna Cameron is super hot. I wish she would have just turned into Isis and used her magic powers to end this atrocious film!

  • yeah I remember how cool and awesome was this old spidey show back then, I was 6 or 7 when I first watched it.

thank heavens things get better, exept for the 3rd movie which was a piece of shit!

  • Joanna Cameron played Isus. I had a crush on her back then.

  • joanna cameron was hot

  • pathetic how he crawls up the walls :-D

  • that is amazing...... over 30 years good TV show~!!

  • Look at how hazy the air was.

  • Jesus when i was a kid i taught this was the best thing ever, things have really changed

  • I guess Andrea left her amulet home and needed Spidey to save her.

  • wall climbing sequence was just amazing.

what could possibly be wrong with it LOL

  • why is spiderman having trouble fighting regular men. stuuuuuupid

  • Terrible.

  • They never used any supervillains on this show, but I always thought the main bad guy in this episode could have easily been the Kingpin.

  • Wasn't that dude Michael Pataki the same Russian dude from Rocky 4?

  • 8:14

    GREATEST music cue EVER.

  • ya.. he couldnt shoot webs like in the new movie. in the series he was still a college studient and had to invent the web fluid etc.. just like in the old cartoon. The new movie takes the genetic alteration a lot further than the series did.. but i miss the old Tv show. =( nick hammond was a great peter parker.. so plain looking but yet so perfect for the role.

  • @merlinvwge While I appreciate sticking to the original concept of the comic, the web fluid cartridges vs genetic alteration was a change for the better. Spiderman is already genetically altered, why not make all of his abilities natural within him?

  • @merlinvwge Kind of funny is his bracelet. Actually I didn't remenber he used to wear one

  • @merlinvwge

Looking forward to the upcoming reboot?

  • I used to love spiderman and i don't remember that THING on his wrist or his little sissy punches o.o

  • Joanna Cameron looks incredible in that bikini.

  • wow this spidey is so weak I mean all he do is runs the original spidey could take those bad guys out in 10 sec with a few punches and this series is to cheesy TOBEY MAGUIRE SPIDEY FTW and btw dont comment saying mean stuff cus tobey is the best spiderman and no one can change my mind but wtf is up with this reboot no spider man 4 and there starting and ther starting over and im 12 btw

  • Check out the cuban links on Spidey's wrists.

  • does anbody no where to download this episode?

  • hahaha.........

  • 9:36 Did I see bruce banner?

  • I wish they have it on the dvd of this original series. And i not going to talk about Spiderman 1, 2 and 3

  • to cool to find this after all these years. good stuff.

  • this one big sequence is better than anything in the recent Raimi films. Hard to believe we once had this level of action on television.

  • He has one freaken web shooter?

  • whats cool is that, the scene at 8:04 is alot like a scene in the film Darkman. The movie darkman was made by Sam Raimi as a template for a superhero story he and his brother Ivan Raimi created since Raimi could not aquire the movie rights either Batman or The Shadow. The funny thing is, is that Raimi went on to direct all three of the Spiderman films with him and his brother Ivan writing the 3rd. Just thought that was a cool connection

  • this shows is actually pretty freakin cool

  • exelente lo vi cuando era pequeñito

  • Stuff like this was epic to me as a kid/comic book fan Younger people who've grown up with the Raimi films, not to mention the even younger ones who'll grow up with the recently announced reboot as 'their' Spider Man don't realise how special this was to kids back then (well some of us Lol!). And I liked Hammond as Peter a good natured, decent kid with a sense of humour and yet that social awkwardness that IS the character.

  • very true,i grew up with these gems also.they'll always be great to me.whats the story with the reboot,is it a remake of the 2002 release, why bother????

  • Yeah, there was a good 30 years in between the 2. Its too early for another reboot.

  • spiderman clink east wood hahahahahah

  • um...im usually a fan of that old skool sh*t but this is horrible! this sucks all he does is run away! he's F*CKING SPIDERMAN! Super strength/reflexes: WHY IS HE RUNNING/HIDING FROM HUMANS?!!!

  • I love watching this because it's so goofy. Spidey is just unprofessional. He hauls ass on foot all the time lmao.

  • Nicholas Hammond, the AUTHENTIC Spidey in my heart, with due respect for Toby McGuire. Spiderman and Wonder Woman are and will always be inevitably 1970s-esque.

  • The only thing that sux about the costume is the eyes. They're too round.

  • @eimb1999 The costume was about as good as it got back then in the late 70s / early 80s. But it does not even compare to the greatness of Toby Macguire's costume. But given the time and technology back then, I feel they did good with what they had.

  • ahahahahah so fucking cheesy

  • the intro is kickass.

  • Didn't realize this until a month ago but Chip Fields is the mother of Kim Fields from "Facts of Life" fame.

  • Guys, you gotta remember that back then special effects on tv weren't the greatest. Look how many decades it took to REALLY do Spidey justice in live action. I mean even the Hulk was watered down from his true strength and size. None the less as a kid watching the show, it was pretty freakin awesome.

  • only one villain?

  • The show is cheesy, but this Spidey costume I think is better than the film one. Nothing beats the classic costumes...except Wolverine's jacket in X-Men Origins that's a reversed colours version of his original costume.

  • nicholas hammond looks like he is in his 40s in this show. Isnt Peter supposed to be in his mid 20s or in high school?

    what a load of shit

  • Nicholas Hammond was 26 when he played this role. Exactly the age a graduate student in physics would be.

  • i have this on tape. but it doesnt work

  • anyone know where i can get a copy of his movie or any of the episodes? Cant find it anywhere not even on ebay

  • 1992ArkhamAsylum is selling this movie, along with the other two for $15 or $20 (I think he's sells overseas as well u might want to ask him, I brought a copy from him few days back, work perfectly.

  • oh forgot to mention, he's selling them on here, youtube just type his username.

  • I have nearly the entire run up here on Youtube.

  • LOOOL He used to kick everyones butt with one punch, why is he dodging :D

  • talk about a host of bad actin! the chik in the 2 piece? lol

  • In Italia non arrivò mai tutta la serie ma solo i 3 episodi più lunghi e furono proposti come film.

    Avrei voluto vedere l'intera serie.

A me piaceva questo tipo di spiderman.

  • i remember watching this show , thinking how cheesy it looked...I HATED MarvelTV superhero live action shows, except the HULK

  • Since I was a kid at the time, I really liked the show... but after a few years I realized the terrible truth! It was extremely cheesy!

  • So brings back great childhood memories.

  • Doesn't look as good as Toei's Spider-Man.

  • hahaha..... if the Green Hornet would be in this episode,Kato would've kicked his ass...he can't even knock out 2 guys. It's a shame they made him look so weak.

    SPIDERMAN FOREVER!!!

  • Lol at 0:29 he's bearwalking up a wall! and sorry Stan Lee but I think the Idea of someone being bitten by a "Radio Active" spider and climbing walls makes sence together, but if he can climb walls because of the bite then in the original series (this) he shouldnt really need a "Contraption" on his wrist that spins webs for him and needs refills that sounds alot like the merchandise. The three somewhat Recent movies make alot more sence to me.

  • Lol he seems like he has no superpowers at all, the way they make him fast is to make anyone else super slow and just standing there.

  • its amazing how much spidey walks in this. I guess the lack of special effects really hold him back from kicking as much ass as the current high flying ass kicking spiderman lol

  • Yes I admit, that was then. But..when we did't have CPU's... that was a extremely very good show back then.

  • I never realized Tootie's Mom was on Spiderman! Cool!

  • just millimeters away from being benny hill.

  • OK? Could've put a little more effort into the wall crawling. Looks more like the sensational stinkbug.

  • i like the punch sounds.proper bruce lee smacks

  • why cant any live action Spidey's be funny?

  • I luv that theme

  • Join the gang...it's suspenseful and it gives one a sense of adventure

  • The real spider-man would have beat the crap out of these guys in 5 seconds. But I still love this show.

  • i guess finding a more agile spider-man actor was out of the question...

  • Spider-man should have been way stronger on this show, just like the hulk should have been bulletproof on his tv show.

  • Here's the trouble with this show, the one that I had with it when I was a kid and this was on....

there's nothing Amazing about this spiderman. All he does is jump out of the way of people swinging at him.

  • Terrible, terrible acting....

  • Like All 60-late 70's shows,

  • Yeah...great acting one could find in 80s tv shows (HUNTER, A-TEAM, KNIGHT RIDER, etc)...you make me laugh

  • Hammond was great in the part. Sorry.

Ditto for the late Rob Simon.

  • An embarrassement moment!. These giant man did the gorilla press easily to Spiderman.

  • So why didn't JoAnna Cameron as Andrea Thomas, turn into ISIS and kick some ass with Spiderman??

  • Greatest stuff ever. It is so believable and inspires me to be a super hero!

  • Really?

  • This episode has some good action, and music too. 5 star

  • He looks disturbing at 2:14

  • These were great. But I'll never understand why they put the utility belt and webshooter on the "outside' of the costume!

Damn! Joanna Cameron was so HOT!

  • The only problem I have with that is they are grey/silver insteaf of painted red

  • awesome soundtrack

  • Holy Crap! LUV this stuff! Never saw these live-action shows before!

  • What a looney. lol

  • Jeeez!....they could have at least tried to be true to comics spidey...the fuckin web shooters and belt on the outside of his costume?...even as a kid i was pissed off at that

  • OMG :DDDDDDDDDD

  • not really amazing is he? The music is really bad too!

  • WOW the chesseiness i smell is horrible!

  • "I loved these TV films as a kid, and I gotta say, this is no cheesier than putting Green Goblin in a Beetlborg suit, Harry Osborn dressed as a snowboarder villain, casting Topher Grace as Venom, and having a goth Peter Parker dance on/in a bar like that hack Raimi's versions."

    LOL; ageed!

  • man, where are the real villians, not these hell kitchen drug dealears from the late 1970's.Terrible tv pilot

  • I got the Spiderman tape The Deadly Dust at the Grafton Flea Market a few weeks ago and it's by Playhouse Video who is better known for their Dr. Seuss and Snoopy tapes.

  • I loved these TV films as a kid, and I gotta say, this is no cheesier than putting Green Goblin in a Beetlborg suit, Harry Osborn dressed as a snowboarder villain, casting Topher Grace as Venom, and having a goth Peter Parker dance on/in a bar like that hack Raimi's versions.

  • I agree. The movies are so unrealistic compared to the comic -- way over the top. The costume looks "frilly" and impractical. The villains can't just be villains, they all have to have a sob story. Maguire isn't at all like Parker or Spidey. And Spider-Man is far too powerful - almost like Superman - in that he is more powerful than a locomotive and can get hit in the head with a train at 200mph and still have a head. The TV show had realism and great wall-crawling scenes.

  • Agreed. But he should have been a bit stronger.

  • There was one episode of this show when he actually bent apart steel prison bars. That's pretty darn strong. The Marvel shows tended to strive for realism (i.e. a mute, non-bulletproof Hulk ... Peter's webshooters not being wafer thin under his gloves - except in the pilot episode) but the original Lee/Ditko Spider-Man was "only" 8 times stronger than a person, which is the proportionate strength of a spider. By contrast, the movie Spider-Man is about 800 times stronger.

  • your right.

  • Comment removed

  • I think spidy needs to do some situps

  • ha ha

  • now with EXTRA cheese!

  • i lmao when i saw the costume close up at 6:50.

  • This Is my Gamertag on XboxLive

  • the song sucks...lol

  • Lord help us this is too goofy!

  • HEY...That is "ISIS" @ 06:33...Remember her?

  • 6:33 oh man, she`s so hot.

back then there were really beautiful women and music, nothing like nowadays.
