  • or we could just use a camera robot like we always have

  • @jeeao Yeah, those cameras are great in the darkness and smoked places like a fire, luckily people only need to get rescued on places well illuminated and with great visibility...

  • lol. its possible.................

  • fake-rat

  • The first steps in developing something are always clunky and awkward. It takes years to build up the sophistication and flexibility of a technology.

  • great ^^

  • Actually, it's the forefront of innovation, but I wouldn't expect someone as 'challenged' as you to understand that.

  • then dont watch their videos dumbass and quit your bitching

  • Then why are you watching the fucking videos you fucknuts??? Jeez... can believe people can be so fucking stupid...

  • Skynet is watching us... xD

  • These robots are getting really advanced!

  • hope it doesn't tinkle people nose or feet while they are trapped and unable to scratch...... looks cute though

  • robotic rats sifting through piles of street garbage looking for partially charged batteries. This is the future

  • ...What? Where in the video did they say that's what they would use it for?

They said it would be helpful for rescue missions.

  • Actually I was joking...It is a rather admirable creation if I must say so myself.

Great assembly of designed parts, sensory instrumentation and artificial intelligence.

I was playing on the irony of a robot mimicing life too closely.

  • Ohh, I see...after reading your comment again I realize you were just joking. My bad.

But yes, yes. It is a rather nice little gizmo isn't it.

  • HAHAHA!! Wow... Can't wait to see THAT future!!

  • lol. its possible...

  • it's cute

  • not very functional but cool to know

  • what's wrong with rescue robots we use today? they have cameras and not whiskers

  • wow ...

those were the most boring 0:33 seconds of my life ..

  • wow when was the last time that thing got a shave >.>

  • too be honest it doesnt look like it could detect a pole right in front of it. the whiskers on detect objects to the sides

  • It has whiskers on its nose, plus it's always swaying its head. Also, this probably isn't the final version.

  • it had whiskers on its nose

  • I need these on my car

  • does it purr?

  • nice

  • This is so cool. That robot rat looks quite scary. I hope they won't put a skin on it to make it look more realistic. I'll faint.

  • I'd get one, but my robot cat would eat it.

  • All for safety & security, guys!

    Not for terror & tyranny....!

    It's all good!
