Hey I was wondering I. Just picked up dipping from work and don't get me long I love it lol but how long dose it take to get used to the "buzz" and would it help if I did it more often? Please help thanks
@brokenhearted161 Good stuff. It took me about 2-3 weeks of solid dipping. However that doesn't mean you should dip all day everyday. If you want to. Have at it. But I did about 4-5 dips a day for that time period. And my buzz wore off after that. Cause once your addicted. You don't seem to get that buzz anymore....But when your addicted and you try not to have one all day. Get ready for hell cause you might go a little crazy cause you want one so bad haha
haha on my first try with dip i had skoal long cut cherry flavor and my buddy dared me to pack a huge lip. i had a really good buzz but then took it out and threw up 8 times out the damn window. not good.
I'm a palm slapper when it comes to packing my dip but would love to learn how to do the finger slap. I just can't seem to get my index to loosen up - any tips on this problem?
@buckshot720 For me i would start with grizzly straight. However you may not like the taste of that. So cope wintergreen would be another good choice to start with JUST NOT grizzly wintergreen! Cause that might fuck your day up lol Skoal citrus, apple, or mint, even grizzly mint you would be ok with too.
@buckshot720 just as hillbilly said Grizzly is the best 1) its cheap and you wasted maybe $3... where as cope is sometimes $4-5 a tin. 2) Wintergreen burns at first mint on the other hand is better. Also don't ruin a good 1st try with a fruity kind I started with a apple and hated it then i got a tin of Grizzly WinterGreen which wasnt bad and got me hooked.. Once you get more into dip go into fruity flavors, citrus I personally hate due to the after taste..

@RacinRudy3 well thanks for watching anyway lol but the way i did it was to just quit cold turkey. it's so hard though. the first 3 days are the worse. then you feel alright after that. However when i hit day 15, it felt like i never quit, you just can't give in. i've been off now for a year. so happy. have saved tons of money lol. But yea it's hard. my dad quit 20 years ago, and he said even today he wants one. So the feeling will prob never go away. But it's worth it in the long run. good luck

@nxtcmgr The reason you pack a can of dip is because it's easier to take a pinch out and also when you pack it, the dip will be all compact to one side of the can. And when you take a pinch out it makes it stay more together without falling apart.

@hillbillychuck87 well when I was younger my family owned a hog farm (illinois) so my dad, uncle, and the guys we hired always chewed. I took my first one when i was about 10 years old and got hooked right away. the tastes helps distract you from the smell of hog shit. haha

@nxtcmgr The reason you pack a can of dip is because it's easier to take a pinch out and also when you pack it, the dip will be all compact to one side of the can. And when you take a pinch out it makes it stay more together without falling apart.

@hillbillychuck87 well when I was younger my family owned a hog farm (illinois) so my dad, uncle, and the guys we hired always chewed. I took my first one when i was about 10 years old and got hooked right away. the tastes helps distract you from the smell of hog shit. haha

@studentoflife01 just want to i guess hah. like cancer is high on both sides of my family. my mom had breast cancer like 2 years ago. and it was hard seeing the pain she went through, and i don't wanna go through that either. so i'm gonna try to quit either by the age of 25. i'm 23 now. or when ever my professional baseball career is over. but i think i'm gonna quit when i'm 25 atleast try too... cause its always harder if you keep waiting ya know. plus ive been dipping since i was 13....

I think it’s cool that you're a professional baseball player and you have enough (I forget what it’s called) to talk to people on YouTube. You know how some baseball players make millions of dollars a year. Do you think that some of them have weird Nazi scientific laboratories in their basement? I just don't see what someone could be doing with all that money other than trying to make their own medicines, time machines, jet packs, or hover cars.

Just looked up GoldRiver cuz I ran out and for some reason this popped up. Thought this was what people do now to grab attention and get someone to look at them. Man, I've always been able to get a pretty good pack, but I never could get the snap down before I tried practicing some without a can. Damn solid advice.
I'm getting pretty bored of Copenhagen straight/wintergreen and grizzly wintergreen, not too into mint flavors, any solid suggestions that won't murder my wallet?

nice man! yea thats the way i learned, and it really works! but like copenhagen is cheap where i live. but i'm doing skoal straight right now. like where i live skoal and copenhagen are pretty cheap. so i don't burn a a huge whole in my wallet. but in your situation. i would go with the timber wolf. i know the texture is a little bit different then other tobacco products. but its good, i like it. but i everyone has their own opinion on taste.

haha yea, like i've been cutting down on my dip. i'm still in college playing baseball. and with everyone on the team doing it, its kinds hard to cut down. but i went from doing a tin a day. to only doing a tin every 4 days. saves me a shit pot of money, it will be better for me in the long run. but i need to quit sometime in the next couple years. but yea that kayak grape is good. they make that where i go to college. like not at the college but the state. its like only $1.20 here.
