They do care. It is not only about their virility but their belief women totally rely on them. A woman who knows how to handle that can keep her man happy and confident. The great thing about this sketch is that she deflates him temporarily but she will have to put up with him being an even worse lover than before. Women learn how to lie to men early on about how good they are. That wouldnt be so necessary if they didnt actually care.
