I just finished this book in the middle of an Australian winter into the early hours of night with an icy gale blowing off the Indian Ocean three blocks way. Like all her books before her, there is that last 50 pages of utter freakout. Must count back find out how many times Anna has had an injured ankle. There's a pack in this novel and its not the wolves. Note to myself, keep distance from men, might be sociopath. A woman involved in a physical adventure is a great read for this scaredy cat.
