  • LOL, That lady you mentioned must know she is an idiot, she disabled her comments. They don't want to hear the truth so they try to silence you or when you" fact" them in a corner they call you names because that is all they know. So typical of a liberal.

  • Awesome video!!

  • anti-gun supporters, leaders, and obama have one thing in common: they're all liars and thieves, sitting around thinking of ways to take away our rights!

  • Dude, you are awesome please run for president.

  • I love how the radical left in America constantly accuse the conservatives of being "anti-science", but you just used scientific (biological) knowledge to shut down one of their pet causes. And how can anybody shoot anything accurately at the hip? Doesn't looking through sights - the only way to fire a gun accurately - require keeping the gun at eye-level? Or do liberals keep their eyes on their hips? It makes sense, though, when you remember that Clinton's brains were always in his pants.

  • Good vid. Yeah, anti gun yuppies dont own guns so they make shit up lol. They just want to ban guns cause they dont like them and find any and every excuse to do it even when statistic proves otherwise and when they cant they nit pick..hi cap mags, bullet buttons, pistol grips..i freaken hate those people. They know the facts, its just a show to get what they want. Bunch of whiney babies. Pro gun all the way!

  • The whole reason that the Ant-gunners focus on items like Pistol Grips, Folding \ Telescoping stocks, Bayonet Lugs, or Flash suppressors is that all of these word combinations sound mean & nasty. That gun is a Assault Weapon because it has a Bayonet lug on it. Never mind that nobody has been Bayoneted in the USA since "The War of Northern Aggression" but the idea of it sounds horrible. I could get anti-gunners to want to Ban Spoons and Banana Splits if I taped a spoon to a barrel of a AK-47

  • @gullreefclub Oh my God, that last sentence of yours is absolute gold! (and absolute truth)

  • If I were to do something silly like shoot a gun from my hip(why?), I would prefer a traditional rifle stock over a pistol grip. The whole "assault rifle" thing is absurd too, you can "assault" someone with any damn type of rifle, or a bat, or a table leg, or a broken Budweiser bottle...

  • @MoejoTheGreat "Assault rifle" is an actual term used to describe a firearm with selective fire. An "assault weapon" is a made-up term by fucktards (i.e. gun control advocates) to classify whatever they want (pistols with forward grips are considered assault weapons to them).

And gun control assholes never actually hipfired any weapon because they'd realize that you'd hit nothing unless they're 5-10 yards in front of you.

  • Guns, with everything that comes with them, unfortunately are necessary, however, their destructive potential is only potential, it all comes down to who's holding them. Guns, for the most part do not create the ability for madmen to kill, If we were in a world completely without guns, killers would still kill. It's usually only when a minority has guns enough threaten an unarmed majority, or when equal forces are equally armed that you see large scale blood shed.

  • Remember when you have only seconds to live the police are only minutes away.

A gun in hand is worth ten cops on the phone.Survive.The police are not required to protect your life;United States Supreme Court, decision

These are all truth's ,that the gun control people will not tell you .Some times you have to protect yourselvs. The criminals do not obey gun laws, gun control does not work for them.

  • The bottom line is that the left blames a group for the actions of an individual. They believe that coffee shouldn't be too hot and that corners can't be too round. They subscribe to the belief that people with no freedom are not free to hurt themselves or others. They see a world in which everybody wears helmets and there is no more bacon.

Bacon and guns - from my cold dead hands!

  • I love to point out that the 1994 AWB only had cosmetic features listed nothing that alters the operation of the gun. Also that criminals don’t care about laws anyway.

  • LOL joshua man you need to look at how many people get stabbed or hit by vehicals in a year compared to that of NON DEFENCIVE shootings.LOL youd be surprised man.P.S. A gun is just a hunk of metal and plastic untill its loaded.Guns are a tool as much as an axe is a tool.Self educate yourself before you try a antigun approach man,to me your just another uneducated fool who thinks that guns are the real evil, there not, dumbass people are and i think stupidity should be the real crime.

  • Wait a minute Rambo fires from the hip and he does just fine. He can also fire 10000 rounds without reloading. Seriously though I always hate when I'm shooting with some one and they try to fire from the hip, same as when they are firing a handgun and shoot one handed with the gun turned sideways.

  • I love the people that are like "guns are bad, ban em". It's got nothing to do with the guns and everything to do with the control. What part of shall not be infringed do people not understand? I'm pissed they banned machine guns in 1934. It had nothing to do with the guns back then. People weren't killing each other in the streets, it was mobsters and it was over prohibition. The NFA in 1934 didn't ban machine guns though, if you could afford the 200$ tax you could still get em (the elite)

  • @marchetta67 Typical left-wing reply to call names rather than debate the topic at hand. You're not even on topic. Why bother posting if you're just going to launch on vitriol that's not even related to the video?

  • Im a buddhist, i love guns, i have for many years, guns dont kill people, people do, anti gun people really have very little argument, mostly its liberals and yuppies with superiority complexes over the "gun toting rednecks" well here's a buddhist saying go back to starbucks

  • again i'm so glad to see people who can not only understand what's really going on in "gun control" laws but help to enlighten the masses

    thank you floatingaxehead!!!!!!!!!!

  • @joshuahimself

While you are using fantasy to solve problems - could you please ban stupidity? I think that has caused more damage to American, and the world for that matter, than any firearm.

    .

Sorry, I guess I've stalled you long enough... You must have a lot of nonsensical solutions to post on youtube - God speed Joshua, and good luck solving problems with fantasy.

    .

When you're done with fantasy, please look at how effective gun bans have been throughout history.

  • @fargley001 faceplam dud gun banning has never worked there are armed robber in place where guns are banned even in china were guns are banned peopleare still making homemade guns are buying guns and buy the way he knows what he is talking abot

  • Thank you, Eric. Looking at some other comments, I can see how we have our work cut out for us when it comes to teaching people to think logically.

  • Gun haters tend to cling to rediculous arguments quite often. I've said it before, they suffer from high levels of logic-blocking proteins in the brain. They have absolutely NO realistic understanding of firearms whatsoever and tend to adopt what is seen in movies and tv as their reality. Gun ownership shouldn't even be in controversy, shall we revisit the 2nd! gun bans are UNCONSTITUTIONAL to begin with.

  • @joshuahimself LOL. I love how you had to say "humans". Because that includes criminals and violent offenders. And suicides, which is ludicrous, because Japan has 4x our suicide rate and no guns. So you can see that's behavior, and the gun is irrelevant.

How about this: There are fewer than 15k innocent people killed by gunfire in the US each year. But there are up to 2,500,000 (2.5 million) legal defensive uses against criminals. THAT kind of "says it all".

  • @joshuahimself You are an idiot. Handguns are illegal in the city where your president hails from (or at least says he hails from there). FACT: July 2008 alone had 62 murders involving handguns... AND GUNS ARE BANNED.

The citizenry of The United States has a CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT to bear arms and must defend itself accordingly.

  • @joshuahimself So only criminals will have them? If everyone was armed the death rate from criminal shooting would be lower, due to people having the ability to defend themselves. Don't be dense.

  • @joshuahimself Why? The high violence cities in America are the ones where guns are banned- it forcibly disarms the law abiding public and makes them victims. And the European violent crime rate (rape, home invasion, etc.) is WAY higher than the USA's- it just doesn't involve guns.

You just spouted off with opinion, but you have no facts to back it up. That makes your argument ineffective, and your comment kinda worthless. Try again based on debate and I'll be happy to discuss it with you.

  • @joshuahimself Ignore this fool Axe.

Ignoring first the semantics of the English language...

    1. The greatest threat to a black man is still another black man.

    2. Per Federal, State, and Local law, as mandated by Congress and Constitutionally validated, not everyone can possess a firearm. Case in point: felons, anyone on most any form of drug or emotional medication, or currently on probation.

    3. Only in America is it the Right of the People to defend themselves, their family, their property.

  • @joshuahimself I agree wholeheartedly with the second half of your statement. Therefore, I am infinitely glad that it is untrue. If you were to walk into a firearms store right this moment and purchase a gun, you would not be walking out of that store with the gun in your possession without all of the proper background checks ensuring you are not underage, do not have a criminal record, and are mentally sound.

  • @joshuahimself So when a bad guy comes to your house and wants to beat you and rape you your just going to do what ?

  • @tommysixgunner call the police and wait 15 to 20 minutes like anyone who likes being raped and beaten.

  • i love this guy!

  • i know thats a mini 14 but the m14 was designed to be fired from the hip in full auto. in all the training vids ive seen from the 60s, the m14 was only fired in automotic from the hip and semi from the shoulder.

  • @jawbone83 I wouldn't say it was designed to fire that way, so much as the stock facilitates it. That was the whole point of this video, though- that pistol grips aren't as easy to use in that case, and that firing without sight alignment is just wasting ammo.

Also, our TTPs have come a LOOONG way since the 60s. LOL.

  • @floatingaxehead yeah agree. have you ever seen the skinny guy doing the training vide with the 1911? hes hopping/ratating and not acquiring any kind of sight picture.

  • @jawbone83 thats actually not true. soldiers may have fired from the hip because of the lack of proper training due to vast numbers in short time, but this weapon was designed for supreme accuracy. we are talking 1000yrds. deffinatly not to be fired from the hip

  • @gotstabbedbyalex123 when was the last time you heard of a full auto shot at 1000yds?

  • Good video mate,

Take every opportunity to expose the flaws and hype your politicians are pushing to ban firearms.

I live in the UK so I know a little about that.

    Enjoying you vids.

    Regards RH

  • please keep making videos

  • People are just stupid. If something looks evil, it has to be now doesn't it ? Ignorant people indeed.

  • And nice CASV.

  • awesome vid! as a avid shooter/gun owner i have to thank you for this one. great job debunking riduculous unfounded myths. by the way that ar is sweet, mine isnt much different check out my channel to see it

  • Those 4 Firearms rules, look nearly verbatim from the Magpul Dynamics DVD

  • @goldeneye007662 They should also look strikingly like the safety rules in Kyle Lamb's book "Green Eyes & Black Rifles", Jeff Gonzales' book "Combative Fundamentals", any Thunder Ranch DVD by Clint Smith...

God gave the 4 Rules to Col. Jeff Cooper who then gave them to all of us. We just re-phrase 'em as it suits us.

  • Ah. Did not know that. Thanks ;)

  • Thanks for pointing out the myths brother! We gotta take these tree huggin', poorly informed people on at a time!

  • wow ur ar is short my man

  • lol. the close captaion thing butchers all your words.

  • Great video Eric.

  • davidatheist. It is certainly sure that you don't know the first thing about the history of this country, being Australian, and having no fear of your goverment, I don't think you will ever really gain that insight into "American Gun Culture" you are seeking. But I will try to clear things up for you anyway

  • davidatheist. You don't have to understand or even accept it. But you should at least have some RESPECT! This country is the United States, and It was not founded to be like your country or any other country on this globe! The people who founded this nation and created our Consitution knew of the way other nations were goverened and specificaly created our goverment to be run by the People who created it. Our founder knew that goverment needed to be kept in check.

  • Great video bubba!!!! Keep up the good work!!!!

  • Dude u don't live in America u don't get it....give it up and don't worry about America....this is our culture not yours don't look or watch things on guns we are into guns u obviously aren't so go away

  • I am into guns and on an instinctive level like the idea of owning guns as self defence weapons (note I have a civilian gun licence and am in the army reserves as an infantry soldier I am qualified on MAG 58, AUG styer, FN 9mm, FN minimi, calgustaf 84mm, LAW 66mm, 40mm grenade launcher, claymore and hand grenades). I am just trying to gain an insight into American gun culture eg why people want them and what Americans think of other societies that dont have widespread gun ownership.

  • "I am just trying to gain an insight into American gun culture"

Simple: guns are one of the means of the independence of the American citizen.

In America, citizens can't, nor should they be expected to, rely on others for their own protection, not even law enforcement.

  • Law enforcement can't provide for individual protection due to practical reasons (they can't be everywhere nor can they be available at every beck and call) and are protected by governmental immunity for failure to protect individuals; law enforcement is responsible only for enforcing the law and upholding public order.

  • Now, you can call the police and they will try to answer your call for help, but understand that in a real situation YOU are your own first line of defense and YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN until the police arrive and actually take action to stop the attack.

  • If you can escape, DO SO.

But if you can't escape, you're left to either FIGHT AGAINST or SUBMIT TO your adversary. But submission doesn't guarantee your safety. Considering that it's your life that's on the line, the choice to stand your ground and fight back if you have no other option is prudent.

  • When you fight, lives will be at stake. Ergo, it makes sense to prepare for such a fight in an effort to improve your odds of survival. Hence, the prudence of being armed with a gun and being well-trained to use it wisely and effectively.

  • The unfortunate fact here is that a criminal attack against a victim can happen to ANYONE, ANYWHERE and at ANYTIME. Being in a place with low crime and doing your best to stay out of trouble means the odds are good you won't run afoul with an attacker, but that does not completely eliminate the possibility of being attacked. Sometimes, bad things can, and do, happen to people no matter how much they try to avoid them.

  • A significant variable that determines the outcome in such scenarios, whether it ends in your favor or not, is your level of preparedness; how well, or badly, you can deal with such situations. Basically, prepare to deal with it but hope it never happens. But, you should NEVER foolishly "look for trouble." It's intellectually dishonest to call this kind of reasoning behind being armed and trained "paranoid."

  • And, yes, this freedom is a big responsibility; it demands wisdom and respect not unlike martial arts. You fight only if you must. You shoot only if there's no choice; good defensive training states the importance of knowing when NOT to shoot. Only if you know for certain that killing your adversary (you NEVER, EVER, shoot to wound or fire warning shots) is the only way to stop a violent attack risking crippling injury or death against you or others that your decision to shoot would be correct.

  • This is why you must never confuse the right to keep and bear arms as a "right" to shoot anyone at anytime for any reason; your choice to use such force must be correct! Your right to keep and bear arms IS NOT a right to be reckless with it.

As for what we think of other cultures who have decided not to have the right to keep and bear arms: we actually don't care what other cultures have decided to embrace for themselves ... that is unless those cultures decide to impose their choice upon us.

  • Great job Eric... Facts are Facts and Lies are Lies... Thanks for keep us informed!

  • I wish we could just ban trolls

  • If you are referring to me as a troll then I must protest. I am only trying to provoke some discussion and am not dealing out personal insults like many of the people commenting on this video. I have not said anything that I dont believe just to get a reaction. You people should be glade to get a chance to test your ideas.

  • Another left wing loser who just doesn't get....go back into your dream world.........and maybe god forbid oh wait ur a loser atheist to nevermind if you ever get robbed or know someone who has been robbed or attacked then maybe you will want to defend yourself and your property.....average police response time ten minutes........and have you ever heard of sports millions of people shoot competitively in this country and recreational......ur arguments have no validity

  • If I lived in your country I would probably arm myself as well only because there are so many nuts running around with weapons. You Americans should really study how well other countries operate compared to yours. Your obsession with guns is a third world mentality and you look foolish in the eyes of other all the other first world nations. Take a step back and realise the damage your obsession with gun ownership has done to your country.

  • @davidatheist you don't even know what your talking about ... and i highly doubt you where in a military force of any kind, thier is no nuts running around with guns thier called criminals and they get thier guns from illegal sources that average citizens do not, and you say books you read are history you must have no understanding of history and how tyranny starts with gun control just give it up, i know europeans and friends from new zealand who love the american idea of gun ownership

  • Why aren't my replies showing up as public on here. I was trying to write back to that dumb ass from Australia.

I think davidatheist is a dumb shit.

  • Well David, I am thankful that I live in a country with the second amendment that protects my right to own a firearm.

We will have to agree to disagree on this issue.

  • Great excuse to show off your gun collection.

  • @stump182 Two rifles is hardly "showing off", my friend... LOL.

  • SHOW OFF!!!! :P

  • I like guns and am in the Australian army reserves but it seems a bit crazy to me that almost anyone can get semi auto military style rifles. Most times we are trained not to use auto fire on our weapons anyway. The rifle you have would be almost as effective as our standard issue rifle in armed conflict.

  • @davidatheist Why does it seem crazy? There are 3-gun competitions, the AR can be very accurate for hunting, it's low-recoil and easily handled by women or youth shooters, etc. I hope you're aware that at one time the bolt action and lever action rifle were also "military style". And the whole point is to be effective, David! Who wants an ineffective rifle? LOL. Google "Byrd and Melanie Billings"- they just might have benefitted from such a rifle.

  • (Part 1)

By effective I mean effective for killing other people. For hunting a large enough calibre should be chosen to give a high chance of a one shot kill. It should be rare that one needs 30 rounds in Simi auto to take down an animal and if one does that should be the last time they go hunting until they learn to shoot.

All .223 have low recoil and can be handled by woman.

  • (Part 2)

If I lived in America I would have one of these rifles but I know how to handle them and would be responsible. But in my view there are too many nuts around so limiting access to these kinds of rifles would be desirable.

  • @davidatheist David... The military also uses shotguns, should I have that taken away along with my Glock 22?

If you don't support private ownership of guns, just admit it. We all know well the success of the Australian gun ban!

It accomplished absolutely nothing. So why don't you go suck off a kangaroo, mate?

  • @AR15Militant Guns should be used for hunting so yes your shot gun should be taken away if it is semi auto or pump action with a capacity greater than 3 rounds. Also your glock should be taken away as it has no use hunting.

The Australian gun ban has been partially successful when people go nuts with a gun now it is usually with a bolt action low capacity mag rifle. They get a lot less shots off and do a lot less damage than they could do with a semi-auto AR weapon.

  • @davidatheist Guns should be used for self-defense, David. The Second Amendment doesn't say ANYTHING about hunting- it was about ensuring we could defend ourselves from a tyrannical gov't. So if you think I shouldn't have a pump shogun or a Glock, that's just too bad. Because a free man, a citizen, knows he has the right to be armed in his own defense. Only a subject is disarmed.

  • @floatingaxehead

Well it looks like your gun laws are having more of a destabilising force on your democracy. All of the most functional democracies around the world operate perfectly well with out the need to have half of the population armed with military speck weapons.

  • Are you so afraid of your own government and society that you need to be armed? If so dont be cowards and hide up in the hill playing toy solders take to the streets and change what you dont like through peaceful means. Take the civil rights movement as an example of what can be done.

  • @davidatheist Afraid of society? Not at all. My Gov't? Yup. But you've obviously never listened to my podcast, where I exhort people every episode to get politically active, because the notion of actually using our guns in violence would mean we've already lost. What I find hilarious about your stance is that you're still obviously upset about the cosmetics- you've not made one reasonable argument differentiating the semi-auto function of the two rifles.

  • There is no difference between them in terms of function I wouldnt want people to have easy access to either of them in Australia. Its the simi-auto high capacity mag that I dont want nutters getting there hands on.

  • @davidatheist How many crazies do you really think are out there, David? So many, just chomping at the bit to go on shooting sprees, that the rational part of the population can't stop them? Is that how little faith in your fellow man you really have?

  • Part 1

The combination of me having no fear of my government and knowing there are crazies out there (I have met some of them) mean I would feel safer not having a gun for self defence in the knowledge that bad people are less able to get them. This view has been reinforced through my reserve army deployment to the Solomon Islands in 2007 were militias with guns caused the country to become a failed state.

  • Part 2

Luckily the Australian army confiscated the majority of the weapons in 2003 and got the country back on track. If there was wide spread gun ownership we would have not been able to stabilise the country and it would be as shitty a place to live as those screwed up African countries.

  • @davidatheist I don't mind if you disarm your people over there in australia. Maintaining rights in other nations shouldn't be our job. Your fascist government can put you in prison if someone thinks what you say is "hateful" and that's your fucking problem. Come to the USA if you want to taste some freedom!

  • @davidatheist- Try living in a suberb of Los Angeles where crime rates are high and tell me you wouldn't be afraid of society. By arming yourself you're making the playing field level against criminals. The USA in history was protected my militias defending their home territory. I can understand that living in Australia you may not have the same problems (although your country was founded by convicts) but in cities like New York and L.A society is different than Australia. We need to defend.

  • Then I feel sorry for you. If I was in your situation I would be arming my self too. But I am sure that I would rather live in a society with limited gun access than one wear I felt the need to carry a gun for protection.

Also the playing field will never be level against criminals because they are always more likely to get off the first shot and take one by surprise. Though I suppose being armed goes a long way to levelling the playing field.

  • @davidatheist- Well Even if all firearms were gone then criminals would move to the next convenient tools/weapon to have the upper hand even if it comes down to having a stick and sharpening the tip of it.. You cannot stop the mind from violence but when you persue a violent act you will use whatever tool gives you the advantage you know ? That's in the most basic form.

  • The problem with a gun is it provides such an overwhelming advantage over someone who doesnt have one and when used there is a high probability of death or serious injury. This is not the case with other weapons that could be used for crimes. Thus comparing a society with high gun ownership to one with low gun ownership one would expect to see higher fatalities per crime committed which I strongly suspect would be the case for America vs the rest of the first world.

  • @davidatheist but criminals dont follow the law friend, if someone wants a gun of that type they WILL get one, and also murder is illegal yet they still do it :P

  • In America people can get any gun they want because of your centurys old misguided right to own guns as weapons. In our country bikies and other scum stockpile weapons but from my observation most of the weapons are bolt action hunting rifles there are a fair few pistols but not many military speck rifles. Plus criminals mainly want to shoot each other so I dont feel the need to own a gun as a personnel defence weapon.

  • @davidatheist and what you are failing to realize is that these bolt action rifles are usually BIGGER caliber then these so called military spec rifles, wake up buddy.

  • But they are not easily concealable have low rates of fire and low mag capacity. Thus they are much less well suited to killing people than simi-auto military speck weapons and pistols pal.

  • @davidatheist an ar IS NOT Easy to conceal i dont know what kind of crack you are smoking

  • @davidatheist, You're a moron. I've been to numerous gunshows and I've never seen somebody shoot up the place.

  • @davidatheist but wow... you're a fucking asshole.

I guess I should not be surprised. In my country we value freedom. In your country.... well, you're descendant from a bunch of convicts.

Maybe that is why your government does not trust you with firearms?

To me though, I can't imagine anyone thinking its right for the government to confiscate any guns of a law abiding citizen.

  • Great video!! 5/5 .....Awesome logical points!!!

  • nice clear demonstration.

  • Anti-gun people try to use frear and false statements to control the people who have no idea about guns.

To you and a guy who knows his firearms, you can see the mistakes this people are making.

But as a person who has no even held a gun in his life, the false statements seem true to him.

It remind me of Hitler and how he got everyone to fear and hate jews. They are preaty much using the same strategy.

  • great vid bro,

I only wish the haters would take the 4:06 to learn a few things.

Thanks for putting up, and keep doing it

maybe you might change one mind.

  • oh great, now they will want to ban M1's!!!! :) BTW, April 19th, 2nd Ammendment March!!!!

  • its evil because it resembles a penis

  • Another great video, man! 5 stars! Beautiful AR by the way.

  • Another excellent video, keep shooting down the lies.

  • your vids are great dude I like your humor

  • This whole assault weapon thing is a joke. I live in NY and pistol grips are legal, but any magazine that holds over 10 rounds are illegal and adjustable stocks also are illegal. What idiots come up with stuff? Good video that helps the fence riders, because you ain't going to nothing for the idiots.

  • cool video and great points

  • The Anti-Gun have NO COMMON SENSE! They love to use catch words like ASSUALT RIFLE, HIGH POWER, HIGH CAPACITY and its funny since the definition of an Assualt Rifle is a rifle that is chambered in an intermiate caliber not a FULL SIZE Battle rifle like a 30-06 or 308 and not a pistol caliber like 9mm or 45. The Germans during WWII were the first to use an Assualt Rifle with the Sturmgewehr 44 or MP44. Where they used a cut down version of the 7.92x57mm mauser and cut down to 7.93x33mm kurz.

  • By cutting the casing lenght almost in half they were able to make a light magazine feed automatic rifle that was able to lay down high volume of fire with manageable recoil. The 2sd Assualt Rifle would have to be the AK47 which was designed by Sgt Kalishnakov after seen a MP44. The MP44 had very tight tolerances and need to be clean to assuare functionality and the AK47 has loose tolerances to assure reliability and functionality.

  • Good video. The assault rifle people and the Saturday night special people are one in the same. All wrong, all ridiculous. They would be funny if they weren't so serious and adamant. By the way, like the 5.11 covert shirt. (I own 5 myself). Keep up the fight. 5 stars.

  • Even IF the pistol grip made firing a rifle "super-accurate from the hip," how does that make the weapon MORE dangerous? I would consider it a safety feature! Would you prefer even a bad guy to be LESS accurate, increasing the likelihood of him shooting someone he is NOT even interested in?

  • Do more videos 5*

  • How do you like the Tangodown grip? What are your thoughts on Tangodown grip vs the Magpul MIAD grip?

  • @rivemor It wouldn't really be fair for me to rate the Tango Down grip against a MIAD, since I've never owned a Magpul grip. I will say this- I like my TD a lot, and it fills my hand much more nicely than the stock grip. I wish I could fit a spare bolt in it, though, and while it closes batteries in storage securely, the "door" could be better. My next build will be a MIAD, but I won't be switching this one out.

  • Super accurate --->

    from 3ft. or less--->

    if your lucky-------o

  • Nice man, your vids of are a good combo of information and comdey!!! Keep them coming!!!

  • Great video.

  • How do you like the Tangodown grip? How would you compair to the Magpul MIAD grip?

    Thanks,

  • I blame Hollywood. They get all there info from watching movie.Firing from the hip is done in every war/action movie, and its really sad.

  • Unfortunately people jump on the bandwagon and will only see things from their point of view they need to get a grip on the situation!! HA HA

  • Well said my friend! Thanks.

  • Oh I think they do know how their "Joints function" as they are smokin way too much. I was not aware of Sugarman's statements. Thanks for the information!

    *****

  • great job bro well said pistol grip equals better accuracy lol wow. we all seen the dude at the range with the modded out ar and cant hit shit then see a guy with a monte carlo style rifle tack driving the targets all day down range. ahhhhhh thee ignorance of those who dont know

  • Yep, great video, debunks the nonsensical misconceptions nicely.

It never ceases to annoy me how anti-gun people have absolutely no clue about the functioning of a firearm because they have never even touched one, let alone fire it, but make up wannabe "arguments" to push their agenda.

  • I heard when shooting a pistol gripped rifle, that accuracy is only enhanced with the aid of "magic rounds", however, You must be very special, and know where to order them from. Now, who remembers that secret hand shake ?

  • Excellent video, you HAVE to do more videos on the other items that the hippies say classify a rifle as an assault weapon.

Barrel Shroud-They say it's to hold the barrel for hip fire

Vertical Fore grip-Same as pistol grip, to shoot from the hip

Sound Suppressor-To kill silently, like a ninja

Bayonet Lug-when was the last bayonet crime?

  • nice vid dude keep them coming

  • Guys, you can argue untill you turn blue with anti-gun idiots. They will refuse to get it.They do NOT want to hear the truth. They are just out to get them from you.

  • @robin6512 Did you ever see 'Thank You For Smoking'? I'm not out to convert the anti-gun people; I'm after all the people watching the debate. You're right about the antis: they have their minds made up and can't be bothered with the facts. But if I can show somebody who's not involved in the debate just how foolish they are, we still win. We have an awful lot of momentum right now, and I intend to keep it up.

  • @floatingaxehead Oh yes please do so.

I live in Libie europe and the debate here is done.

You don't even tell you friends that you have a gun unless you trust them.

Before you know a swat team is storming yr house.....as a manner of speaking.

And using it against a burgler or a home invader!!!!!!??? you end up in jail.

So please keep the debate living as long as you can.

You have my, even when it's far away, support

  • I always explain this same thing to people. Thanks for making this video!

  • Yet another anti-gun, anti-freedom lie debunked. Thank you Eric Shelton!!

  • I guess the anti-gun people watch too many movies huh? Rambo anyone?

  • thats right and if they'd watch closley most of the time it was an m60 with a ammo belt that led all the way to texas and back that he was shooting. i mean really would rambo really have been rambo with a 22 rifle? the anti gun people would have it that way or no gun at all maybe the next rambo or rambo style movie would be call GAYBO this time he would have a cut off shirt with a scar tied around his neck with a potato gun that shoots bunchs of flowers instead of a m60 lol anywho carry on

  • a monte carlo stock would be far easier indeed to fire from the hip.

really when i think about why a pistol grip? is it more accurate? no as most hunting rifles have a monte carlo stock. maybe its because it is easier and faster to get on target?

  • yeah ok you trying to fire accuratly from the hip its not going to happen lol

  • good video dude very informotive keep up the good work
