  • Sweet Taurus, man. Is it the 3.0 or the 3.8 big block? I'm on my second Taurus right now. Mine were both 92 L models and my brother has a 95 GL. When you drive this thing make sure you pull the headrest all the way up. My first Taurus was totaled when it got rear ended and the whiplash almost took my head off! I miss that car more than most girls I've dated.

  • @save16thave Thanks for the comment :). The Taurus has a 3.8 in it but right now the under carrarage is going bad on it :( so my mechanic is fixing it now to get it thru inspection and then im gonna be looking for another vehicle

  • its a nice car!!

  • @fananimalcrossing099 Thanks! This car actully only has 116,000 miles on it

  • @kubotaman85 NICE im going to get a car like that soon!

  • @fananimalcrossing099 sounds cool

  • @kubotaman85 yes it is do you still have that car?

  • @fananimalcrossing099 Yes I do. Its in the garage right now getting the exhaust system repaired after it fell to the ground on me on my way to work and was dragging the ground

  • @kubotaman85 aww yeah my dad he has one its old LOL every time we turn CLUNK lol its a good car!! id say it last long how much was ur car?

  • @fananimalcrossing099 its really funny how I ended up getting this car. I was just driving along and seen this car in the skid row at a junk yard. The only thing was wrong with it was the exhaust and at the time I bought it it had 90,000 miles on it and I ended up getting it for $700 when it booked for about $2500 on kelly blue book so I really got a hell of a deal on this car and I've never had any major problems with this car

  • @kubotaman85 oh THATS NICE! im getting one thats 1,990 and its really good so how long have you had this car

  • @fananimalcrossing099 I've had this car for about 4 years now

  • @kubotaman85 4 years nice im gonna have mine forever well maybe

  • @fananimalcrossing099 take good care of her and she will last you for a while

  • @kubotaman85 ok thanks for the tip ill try not to give her a hard time LOL i cant wait it comes soon

  • @kubotaman85 bad news :P i had the car for 5 years and its gone now :P its dead

  • @fananimalcrossing099 that sucks. I've had this 93 for about 4 years and the unibody on it is getting so bad that it will not pass inspection this year :-( I have an Explorer now because I needed something with 4wd which reminds me i need to do a video of that soon

  • Nice looking car. I hate the newer shape they introduced in 96. But the latest models are looking better.

  • @neydogg Thanks for the comment! I've had this car for about 3 years now and have not had any major problems with it. The thing i hate about the 96 taurus is the heat controls are right on with the radio I like the 86-92 and 93-95 tauruses

  • I bought a 93' v6 three years ago for $500 bucks. Currently running 314,000 on the odometer. Original engine. It might be ugly but a damn good car. Only issue is a little oil burn...

  • i got a 1993 taurus gl with an 3.8 v6 and i got it for free only had to get an new hood lol now im gonna replace the fuel pump its worn out but its a nice car its all white and it has red interiorXD any tips for this car cuz it has only 89000 on it

  • @ezracaligiuri87 if the interor is in good or excellent condition you may want to get some either seat covers or blankets for ur seats just to protect ur seats

  • @kubotaman85

why?? after the winter im gonna respray the car probs black so it looks ood it has some rust spots wich i ca nsand away and a spot on the left front wheel fender wich i can fill up easy. but yeah seat look good though might gonna use some chemicals to fully clean it but no rips or torns there . but why covers then?

  • @ezracaligiuri87 the seat covers would prevent rips and stains and prolong the life of the seat

  • @kubotaman85

oh and what is all this about cold starts i dont understand can u explain it to me??

  • @ezracaligiuri87 a lot of people on youtube like to show their vehicles when they start them and have them running

  • these ford taurus RUN FOREvER.

  • @drei9 Yup That They Do If You Take Care Of Them Properly

  • Just wanted to say thanks for the Taurus start up. Taurus cold starts are verry few and far between on here, so keep them up, and tell anybody else who has one to make cold start vids. Those are my favorite kind of cars.

  • @blindmotorhead no prob. i've always had good luch with tauruses they are my most favorite car too...this car that i have right now has 111,000 miles on it right now which is pretty low for a 93

  • i miss my taurus

  • Nice LX. probally a 3.8l? ya ditch the wal mart hubcaps and get stock ones. almost the only way to tell 93-94 models apart is by the door handles, color keyed handles mean its either a 94 or 95, black like yours mean its 92-93. keep this car up it will last!

  • @dmx011 The car has a 3.8 V6....It gets really good gas mileage...I have one of those K&N air filters in it and it really runs good. I actully got the hub caps at auto zone...i got this car from a junk yard for $700 and the only thing that was wrong with it was the exhaust and i got that fixed it had 90,000 miles when i first got it and it now has 110,000 on it its been a good car for me

  • give it a wash.....and tint the windows & your good to go and get diffrent hubcaps different design

  • @ProFessionaI09 not to be mean or anthing but I do wash it when i can but I live on a dirt road so sometimes it does no good to wash it. I don't tint my windows because i like my windows the way they are and I like my hub caps the way they are. Thanks for the sugesstion tho :)

  • my dad owns a 1993 gl in ice blue over in the UK great car. what he used to use as a daily car when he worked for British Aerospace in Saudi Arabia exactly the same as this one

  • my dad owns one in ice blue over in the UK great car. what he used to use as a daily car when he worked for British Aerospace in Saudi Arabia

  • Started right up, it's in great shape too!

    5/5.

  • @jojocats2 Thanks for the comment...I still have the car...it has 106,000 miles on it at the time...it has however been involved in a few fender benders but other than that i've has no problems with it
