What colours of cedar are these,

@Leeso2011 it is only wester red cedar the colors all come from the one peace of wood .

I tryed to mix up the strips to get a bit of contrast ,

Great job making the "Prospector". I liked the diamond pattern you included on the hull. Me and my brother made three "Peterborough" canoes using the plans from the same book you used. We also made a ceder strip kayak. That was 14 years ago. Your video brings back alot of fond memories. Thanks!
