My dad used to love this show... This song is such a MAN'S song! I used to jump off furniture, swing off buildings(Thanks Ted..bad influence male friend) Grandmother knew I was going to grow up into the FALL Guy. That ended with the first broken arm c.1989 and mother's first doctor's bill! LOL.
I am no country music fan, but I really like this song, so I understand why this song was a hit in Germany. Lee Majors sure can sing. He got the good country voice and the manly looks for the Fall Guy.
I'm 32 now and I still remember The Fall Guy. And MacGuyver, Knight Rider, Dukes of Hazzard, Blue Thunder, A-Team, Simon and Simon, and other tv shows that made tv awesome to watch that I may have forgotten to mention. Oh yeah, and Sledge Hammer. What do we have today? Some bullshit called reality tv. Bring back the 80's. Hell, why not bring the 70's back, too.
@ruth1488 Did you not see the part of the clip where Lee Majors said he sung the song?? Check out any Fall Guy episode and you will see his name in the credits. :)
Damn, David Somerville and his band should be more popular--that song and their performance is better than most of what passes for "Country" music these days. I'll have to look for more info on these guys.
Interesting. Thank You.

@manomondo Er wollte damit nur zum Ausdruck bringen, dass er weder seinen noch David Hasselhoffs Erfolg als Sänger nachvollziehen kann.

I'm not a fan of "country" but I've heard what is "country" isn't "country".
