He's definitely a physical presence in the post, but it looks like he's pretty limited when it comes to getting to the basket. Wait until he goes up against another legit big man in NCAA, then we'll see how talented he is.

I know he's only a sophomore and he has time to develop, but for now, I just think he's a presence with the ceiling to develop. I'll be interesting to see what happens with him. BTW, I think he stays at Washington or ends up at USC.

i saw him play at my HS, Kentlake, and yeah he is a beast at blocking and he plays post hella well. only thing is i think if he were a bit faster/quicker he wud be a much better version of eddy curry. and he also has good hops for his size. good luck josh

I wouldn't get my hopes if your a team aside Kentucky or Tennessee. Im a die-hard UK fan and recently got addicted to good ole' rivals. And it notably says that Smith has been recruited by Kentucky Gillispie and Woods of Tennessee. I'd love to see this guy on UK. Just another step in the right direction. Plus theres an article saying Gillispie attracts nation's top junior. Just take a look at Rivals.
