  • I think the video does not address it's title. Also, please explain: Didn't Jesus cancel the Old Covenant "Laws" by fulfilling them and dying on the cross? (Col 2:14 NIV) "having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross." (EPH 2:15 NIV) "by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. Then, isn't there a New Covenant?

  • Which Commandment do people know that starts with the word remember ???... But yet it is also the commandment the world has FORGOTTEN!!!..........????

  • The Seal of God is the Holy Spirit - NOT! the Sabbath

  • @2worldsatwar thank you most people don't realize that

  • So,It's all about the Sabath??

  • @JohnnyLeeW1 Yes, you will need to have the seal of God in order to avoid the mark of the beast. Time to choose, Jesus or Lucifer.

  • The Worlds Last Chance is such a great website. I found it like 5 days ago many things it speaks on I already believed but also learned new things. Everyone should go to this site if they are looking for truth.

  • Also remember that this whole cosmic conflict started with Lucifer/Satan rebelling & attacking God, His character, & innevitably, God's Law. Jesus said 'if u love Me, keep MY commandments. And God does love u, but if u willfully break His Law, u force God to exercise tough love on u and punish u.. sin, disobedience, and down right defiance will not be overlooked, as these will not enter God's everlasting Kingdom.

  • I just made this site jesusshroud.info

  • Jesus' sacrifice did more than anyone could imagine. Besides saving us, u & i, He died in order to fulfill, to uphold His Law, to vindicate God's Law which is His character; to show the entire Universe who God really us, how great His love is, and in contrast, to show the trully ugly nature of SIN, because of sin, Christ had to give His life, Creator giving His life for His creation; now that is Love. To NOT keep God's Law is to render Christ's sacrifice useless and in vain. Your choice is to

  • @atamotua64, well written!!

  • God surely is Love. Is God also Just and True? cant say No to either, right? So when someone says 'just have faith and believe whatever u want', well, we're talking vital stuff here, God's Law, not God's suggestions nor opinions. If the law could have been changed, then Jesus would not have had to suffer death on the cross. And God's Law = God's Character, canNOT change.

  • We brothers and sistars need to get illuminati out of the church

  • Eh everyone has their own type of faith okay, a kind of way to believe in God. Isnt that it? Believing and having faith in Him in YOUR OWN way whilst also abiding his laws and morality?? WHAT IS THIS FIGHTING ALL ABOUT. God is love and if you think that someones opinion differ from yours THEN FINE. But not everyone thinks like what you are thinking of so just believe in Him. God is love. Jesus is Love. -3

  • Hebrews 4 commands us to keep the Sabbath. People try to look over that to search for the symbolic rest in Jesus, all the while though, they over look the literal command to simply keep the Sabbath to enter His rest.

  • The Sabbath commandment to man came after sin entered the world to legally prescribe devotion to God. Christ entered the world and perfected the Law making devotion to God an issue of Faith. God's remaining commandments are moral, not symbolic (sign). The Sabbath was no longer observed well before the council of Laodocia. Can't blame the Catholic church there.

  • Duh. Sunday is a day of worship. You are not supposed to do ANYTHING on the sabbath, including going to church, paying tithing, etc. You have demonstrated some seriously aggressive ignorance here.

  • @yeti13013 Where in the Bible did God give direction to changed the day?

  • @junglemike72

Is the book of the law the same as it was, or with the new priesthood came a change or law? The bible tells us:

Gal 3:19 Wherefore then [serveth] the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; [and it was] ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator

Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath [days]:....

  • Col 2:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body [is] of Christ.

The law of God was a shadow of the messiah, everything he revealed in the law was for the sole purpose of revealing his son, Jesus Christ. The law reached its conclusion at this point. We are now no longer under the law that pointed ahead to Christ, because he is here, now we follow him, and in him we can follow and worship him always.

The sabbath was a shadow, everything about it was a shadow.

  • @Myhopeisinhim In Colossians 2:16 it says "the sabbath days" a translation of the greek word sabbaths, so this is not talking about THE sabbath, it's about all the days of rest of the mosaic law.

If you read carefully Paul talks about food, drinks, holydays, sabbaths, etc. Paul is not talking about the 10th commandments.

The 10th commandments are eternal. Isaiah 66:22,23 Matthew 19:18, Revelations 14:12.

  • @aurus33

The greek word used is sabbaton. This is the same word used for other verses which contain the term "sabbath", including....

Mar 2:28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

Paul was talking about food, drinks, holy days(yearly feast days of the Lord), new moon(monthly feast days of the Lord), and the sabbath(weekly feast days of the Lord, seventh day sabbath). This phrase is used numerous times throughout scripture, and shown to mean seventh day sabbath.

  • It basically covered every single feast day of the Lord as given in Leviticus 23.

  • @Myhopeisinhim Exodus 20:8-11 Keeping the Sabbath is the fourth commandment. Compair 2 Chronicles 33:8 with Colossians 2:14 and you'll see that Paul is taking about the ceremonial law handed by Moses to the israelites. This is why we must not take verses out of their context.

Revelation 14:12 says "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS of God, and the faith of Jesus."

Saying that any of the commandments is no longer valid is wicked!

  • @aurus33

Did you know that the term used in colossians 2 is used 7-8 times in the scriptures? And in one incident it refers to the shewbread which was performed on the seventh day sabbath.

We must not take verses out of context, nor must we take our own understanding of the verses. The bible often explains itself as it does in this case.

  • 1 john 3:22-24 tells us what commandments he is referring to:

And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

  • People confuse the term commandments and believe it always refers to the ten commandments, when the commandments which need to be kept are:

    1) believe on the name of his son Jesus Christ

    2) love one another as he has loved us

John shows that these are the commandments you are called to keep.

  • @Myhopeisinhim In Matthew 19:16-19 we read

"And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, [...]

  • @aurus33

Gal 3:21 [Is] the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a LAW GIVEN which could have GIVEN LIFE, verily RIGHTEOUSNESS SHOULD have been by the LAW.

Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for IF RIGHTEOUSNESS [come] by THE LAW, then Christ is DEAD in VAIN.

  • Jesus was talking to a man who thought that he himself was a law abiding jew, a follower of the torah. A man who thought that he could do good deeds via the law to attain eternal life.

Jesus spoke truthfully, life could be attained by the law if one could keep it 100%, but all it takes is one sin and you are guilty of the entire law, and Jesus just a few verses down showed the man guilty of God's law. Jesus only quoted a few of them, not all God's commandments.

  • @Myhopeisinhim Ok don't keep the commandments, it's your problem. It's nice to do wicked things not feeling any remorse right?

  • @aurus33

What are your thoughts on the verses that were just posted? They specifically state that there was not a law given, ten commandments or otherwise, that could have given life, otherwise, righteousness would have been through the law.

The next verse states that if righteousness could have come through the law, then Christ died in vain. He wouldn't have needed to die if we could have achieved righteousness through the law.

  • The bible also says that man's attempt at fulfilling the law is man's righteousness, not God's righteousness(Philippians 3:9). It goes on to say that the righteousness of God, WITHOUT THE LAW, has been manifested:

    Rom 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

Who was witnessed of in the law and prophets. What was the entire purpose of the law? To reveal the way to be made right with God through Jesus and his shed blood

  • No one is talking about not following God. We're ambassadors and as such we should live in such a way that brings him glory, and not shame. After all, we wouldn't send an ambassador from our own country into another if they weren't going to represent us in a proper light. We're to let his light shine to the world.

But letting this light shine is in no way gaining us salvation, or keeping us saved. We can do nothing of ourselves to attain salvation. That is a gift of God through grace...

  • because of what Jesus did on the cross for us.

The old law showed us condemned, Jesus shows us free, not because of what we've done for God but because of what God has done for us in the person of his son Jesus Christ on the cross. In this God gets all the glory!

  • @Myhopeisinhim I know that salvation is by the grace of God, but James 2 talks about the real faith, we have to respect the law but it is not a heavy burden anymore because of Christ. We have to "fill" our faith with works or else is empty.

The point is that only our faith in the Lord and the grace of God will save us but we need a real faith and i think that real faith is the faith that James talks about.

I like to keep the commandments even the sabbath i don't see anything wrong with that.

  • @aurus33

Rom 4:6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

    Rom 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

Gal 3:2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

How do you reconcile these verses with what you believe? You receive the Spirit before you perform any works.

  • @Myhopeisinhim I already told you, the Bible doesn't say that keeping the commandments is wrong, i like to keep them and i'll keep them even the sabbath. If you like to do any kind of stuff believing that your faith is pure and real then go ahead.

  • @Myhopeisinhim What's you opinion about James 2?

  • @Myhopeisinhim It was nailed to the cross, meaning it died with Christ. 10 Commandments are forever. It was for the Jews, and Paul had Jews and Gentiles that were judging one another because out of habit the Jews kept these laws.

  • @Myhopeisinhim It was nailed to the cross, meaning it died with Christ. 10 Commandments are forever. It was for the Jews, and Paul had Jews and Gentiles that were judging one another because out of habit the Jews kept these laws. Cermonial Sabbaths in the book of the Law or different in the Blessed day the 7th Day.

  • @junglemike72

Did Jesus deal with all sins on the cross, even the sins of the ten commandments? Did Jesus fulfill the entire law?

  • No man is justified by the law in the sight of God, The just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. Faith Alone, Grace Alone, Christ Alone.

  • @tickmann You do not understand the scripture. Hebrew 4, and future Rev 12:17. You are talking about the Book of the Law that were contrary and against them a burden to them. That is what was nail to the cross, not the 10 Commandments. History even tells us man Changed the day. Sunday was a day the Pagans worshipped on.

  • @The1Antonio1 lol u make me laugh babylon in bible prophesy does not refer u legalism, i think u need to study ur bible more, and the adventist speak the truth.

  • cont from below, the Sabath is a state of being of rest that we enter, just as He rested from His works. Hebrews 4.

  • Seal of God; Holy Spirit.

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession—to the praise of his glory.

    Ephesians 1:13

  • @patienceprence

The Seal of God is not the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the applicator. It "applies" the Seal. It "seals" your heart. But what does it seal? It seals the law in your heart, and that is the New Covenant promise. To write the law in our heart. And it is the Holy Spirit that does that. Read those texts in Ephesians closely. None of them say the Holy Spirit "IS" the Seal. Instead, we are sealed "with" and "by", just like we write "with" a pen. ;)

  • Another way to say it is that the Holy Spirit is the "sealing agent", or the "sealer". When the Holy Spirit is in your heart, the law is written in your heart, because the Holy Spirit is what stamps it---that you keep it out of love, and the Sabbath is the "center" of that Seal...the central outward expression of our true rest in Christ. The Sabbath IS the Seal of God, and Sunday IS the Mark of the Beast. Like it or not, it is burning truth, like sap from the living vine. :) God bless.

  • @Lysimachus78

Do you believe that the Holy Spirit lives within you and that anyone who has not the Spirit is not a child of God?

  • @Myhope

Absolutely. Salvation is not dependent on works, & the Law cannot save u. Only the blood of Christ can do that, & the indwelling & renewing of the Spirit within. However, once the knowledge of God's laws come to us, we will naturally want to do our best to obey to demonstrate our love. I believe the Sabbath is a test of obedience once the knowledge reaches them. Those who never knew of the Sabbath, they will not be accountable as long as they made effort to do what they knew was right.

  • @Lysimachus78

The bible tells us that the Spirit is our guarantee that we are a purchased possession. The Spirit is like our receipt that God will come back for us and take us to where he is.

The Spirit is the one that identifies someone as a child of God. If someone doesn't have the Spirit, they don't belong to God and won't be identified as his, regardless of whether or not they keep the sabbath

The Spirit is sealed in the heart of every believer, showing them as a child of God.

  • If it just acted as the sealing agent then we wouldn't "have" the Holy Spirit, we'd have whatever it sealed us with. We wouldn't have the Holy Spirit in our heart, it wouldn't be our guarantee:

    2Cr 1:21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, [is] God;

2Cr 1:22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

God is the sealer, and he seals us with the Spirit in our hearts. The Spirit identifies us to God, not the sabbath

  • @Myhopeisinhim So when did God say to abolish his blessed day the 7th day? Give Scripture please.

  • @Myhope

It is a combination of both. The spirit both seals you, & dwells in u. If it dwells in u, it is writing the law in your heart. It's very simple, if you have the Spirit, you have the law written in your heart. If you have the Spirit, you will naturally have the desire to live up to all that you know and obey God's law. In obedience, there is true freedom. Freedom from the shackles of sin. If a believer with the Spirit receives the knowledge of the Sabbath, he/she will readily accept it

  • @Lysimachus78

You say that the Spirit does the sealing, but isn't the seal. The bible tells us:

[Select for Copy; Double click to (de-)select all] Eph 1:13 In whom ye also [trusted], after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

It says "sealed with that". I believe it to mean that the Holy Spirit is what we are sealed with. I'd like you to consider another verse for a moment:

    more

  • Rev 5:1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals

Do you believe this verse means that the seven seals are the sealing agent, but are not the actual seals of the book?

  • You made a good point when you said they forgot the one commandment that started with "REMEMBER". YAH knew this would be a factor in the close of this system of things. Only his true people would observe all His commandments. They would also know that this was a predetermined sign of His true followers. Shalom

  • If you love Me, then you will keep My commandments. As I was, I am, and forever more shall be, so My word was, and is, and forever more shall be. Amen.
