  • This is very funny and so well choreographed...I used to live in Tunbridge Wells and visit sometimes....this film is hilarious!

  • Gotta love the broom tango.

  • I'll be chortling for days at this. Shame that they didn't make it to TW. I've been told several times that one comedy show or another filmed in a piece in the office/retail block between the Pantiles and Sainsbury's in the 1970s.

  • hahaha good old sunny tunny

    T.WELLS ROCKS !!!!

  • Very clever as by swinging and hanging out of each other they couldn't fall over as the van drove off, the choreographer must have spent some time in the back him/ herself

  • Captainllama

I concur with you and 'disgustedtunwells'. Looks like somewhere amongst 'The Lanes' between Ship St. & the Old Steine.

  • It's Brighton Square. For certain. In the late 70's.

  • @bonzodog47 It looks like it could be Stevenage town centre.....

  • aha cool XD

  • fucking pissing myself wiv laughter man wot a load of shit tunbridge wells is???????? lived here all me life think its shit...

  • Kazuggy, What about the fantastic Pantiles & the Spa? Not to mention Lee Banada, JKD expert?

  • I think the nearest they got was that 5 mile sign, but nice bit if publicity!!!

  • The woman playing the third sailor is Gillian Gregory, who also choreographed the number. She's an award-winning choreographer on both sides of the Atlantic, having won (among other things) the Tony for Best Choreography for "Me And My Girl" in 1987.

  • Thanks for that, I'll update the info!

  • ...cold.

  • Love it! Although I'm not sure Tunbridge Wells would have the same effect on them today! Maybe we should have an updated version!

  • It was Brighton in the lains!

  • m.a.d

  • this is one of by favourite bits in RWT.

  • One of the most exciting towns in Kent!
