How to mod - RAGE (Mod Tool)

whenever I use this then save it it always reverts it back to what it was before? Do you know whats wrong maybe?

@doomgaurdian all the things I changed go back to how it was before

@gavinbbly 1. Make sure your loading the correct save

2. Use an autosave

3. Ammo is capped so only goes up to a certain amount

4. Check all of your inventory (every section of it leave nothing out)

5. Make sure you saved the gamesave in the tool

6. Make sure you then rehash and resign it in a Save rehash resigner (you don't have to use Horizon's one)

7. Getting error's? ask Echelo about a fix

OK so you can try the steps above in any order or however you want and see if it works then.

Just wondering does this editor when it edits the save does it change origional save or does it do the backup one instead?

@bondamf It edits the save you choose to edit which is whichever save you extracted

oh and as for the ammo not changing that could have been from an early patch to prevent unlimited ammo mods and whatnot

the guy that made it has stated that you should also be able to use the normal saves as well as the auto saves.
