Yes, he was in bad health but with songs like My Way, Unchained Medley, Bridge Over Troubled Water and so on. He proved that he can sing those better in his later years because of the pain he was in and he poured that pain into those songs to make them more heart felt that ever before. Another great version comes from Greenboro 1972. That too is a better version that this one.

Ok everybody. This whole series of concerts took place in a brand new hotel in Las Vegas, NV, a city that has always had very strict drug laws. Do you think someone would actually be dumb enough to light a skinny in the front row of an Elvis show? It would've reeked the entire place up and especially the stage. @MUFC127 the drugs he did were prescription drugs from the military he inadvertently became addicted to when his higher ups gave them to the men to keep them awake and alert. he got fat near the end of his life, probably out of depression at the loss of his mother and the realization his career was at its close with the british invasion. that and chili fries are fucking awesome.

Ok everybody. This whole series of concerts took place in a brand new hotel in Las Vegas, NV, a city that has always had very strict drug laws. Do you think someone would actually be dumb enough to light a skinny in the front row of an Elvis show? It would've reeked the entire place up and especially the stage. He would never smoke weed in the public eye like that, not to mention during a concert.
