  • Brilliant.....doing P.E. proud I'd say.

Pharoahe Monch is.....can't think of words to describe how good he is

    :)

  • man made disasters blamed on the creator

  • He goes out there on this one talking about haarp tsunamis and shit. Unusual for him.

  • This is real Hip Hop not like that bullshit from Eminem!

  • @cli6065823 here we go

  • hell of a job on this.....took a bonafide classic and made it his own..

  • the first verse was originally done by chuck d/public enemy. this is actually his tribute to a great influence on his social consciousness. this is power hip hop at its strongest!

  • god i love this song.

  • At first...I was not felling this....but these days if the new school even knows and gives respect to the classics that came before them.....then i'm down with it! Mad universal and eternal props and respect to Chuck D, Flava flav and all of P.E.......

Permanent props to Pharoah Monch for giving some love to a true classic Hip-Hop anthem.

  • Woooooooooooooooooooow :| this song rocks my frickin` daaaaaaaaay

  • This Bro has Skills!!!

  • This does not have half the anger as the original song by PE. No one can match Chuck D's intensity, anger and righteous indignation.

  • wow, i am impressed. he actually did this justice. can't fuck wit the original, tho. who produced this joint?

  • wonderful tribute to PE...

  • Great remake & tribute to Public Enemy & one of their greatest songs. Love Pharaoh Monch!

  • "Theres a hole in the apple the apple has been rotten,

Scheme like a plan, I plan like Bin Laden

    Supreme Scheme Writer

    Slick Strip Editor"

  • isn't this a tribute to public enemy?

  • one of my favs on the brilliant new album from monch.

  • what a fat ass video! very nice stuff...

  • um, wasnt this song originally by public enemy?

no matter, this 1 soundz WAY better!!

  • This is from Pharoahe Monch's LP Desire. The first verse is line for line from the original by Public Enemy. At about 2:05 till the end it is all original material by Pharoahe Monch and his production staff. Incredible lyrics and beats, old and new. Much respect to Public Enemy and Pharoahe Monch.

  • Not to nitpick, but the last couple verses are from Chuck D as well.

  • Yea my fault. I forgot at the end again but the entire track is dope from intro to finish.

  • But 2:15 to about 2:51 is not Chuck D.

  • @ReflectionsOfReality yup that's right, also at about 3:00 it goes back into the ending of Chucks verse on the original welcome to the terror dome, when I get mad I put it down on my pad, give you something that you never had

  • @bazookajoe628 its physically impossible for this to better than public enemy

  • too much rock???? The break and horns in this song killllllllllllll

  • yea dat beat is sick!!

  • True hip hop. Pharoahe Monch is spittin the truth like none other. Kanye and Timbaland can shut up and suck it and listen up.
