  • Assalamualaikum, please read with an open & humble heart for the sake of Allah SWT.

And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e music, singing etc) to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah without knowledge, and takes it (the Path of Allah, the Verses of Al-Quran) by way of mockery. For such there will be a humiliating torment (in the Hell-fire). [Al-Quran 31:6]

Commentary of this verse, yahoo search: Instead, they turn to listening to flutes and singing accompanied by musical instruments.

  • Prophet Muhammad SAW said,"From among my followers, there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk (illegal for men only), the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical instruments, as lawful. [Al-Bukhari]

True Muslims stay true to 2 things, Al-Quran and As-Sunnah (Sayings & Actions of Prophet Muhammad SAW). Sahih Al-Bukhari is the most authentic book on earth after Al-Quran.

  • say sayonara to lagho musics, hello to musics w/ meaning :)

  • For the muslims who music is haram ou are completly wrong it is not mentioned in the quran that is haram so you cannot call it haram at all also the sahaba wrote a song and sang to the prophet ( pbuh )

  • @MrAdnar ah subhanAllah! music is SO HARAM! A: Hazrath Anas (R.A.) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “There will certainly be people from my Ummah who will attempt to legalize fornication, the wearing of silk (for males), the consuming of wine and the use of musical instruments” (Al-Jaamius Sagheer - Pg. 139).

  • We must learn to stop arguing over a small branch of Islam when we have a lot more big issues to talk about. If you think it is not nasheed,t hen leave it, if you think it is nasyeed, listen to it, as easy as that, take the message and move on.

  • @scentsdelite i agree with you, sometimes it's noticed that a lot of thought is given on small matters, while big issues are being ignored.

  • your voice is awesome, but there is music, so please try not to use music , so I can listen to your nasheed, thank you

  • @NicolaWyrd IT'S NOT MUSIC , IT'S NASHEED

  • i hope awakening records consider of changing the logo. Choose something that does not look like a triangle with a circle around or inside it. How about square. That sounded good. Something that people when look at it, the word illuminati never crossed their mind.

  • is the illuminati converting to Islam?? hah, if it is, im ok with it

but no way, i dun think so

but whatever it is, i will wanna be closer to Allah

  • I love this video, my boyfriend is playing guitar! :) xx

  • @Vixy2212 re u even muslim coz this is nasheed

  • @xxxMissSunflowerxxx You do know that the word 'nasheed' just means 'song' in the Arabic language

  • @rockalday yes, i think i do

  • @rockalday no disrespect, but nasheed generally means islamic songs, and other songs means aghani or a3ani.

  • i don't like the sign of awakening records it's like illuminati symbols T_T

  • @yume533 u're right .. hmmm a pyramid inside an eye O_o

  • @ismaakeel exactly man!! we're surrounded!! lol

  • I think its must better to listen a song about glory of Allah rather than song for appreciation of woman

  • ya know some of mufti said that when music is with lyrics that glorifies allah it's allowed like kardawi. but not all muftis.

  • Only musical instruments with string are forbidden in Islam. the rest of the instruments like drum are allowed, ( according to Sheikh Yusuf estes. search for his video regarding music in youtube.

  • who told you that he was talkin about women?

  • i igree wheth

    faisaa111

    :)

  • is this a song or islam nasheed lots of music on it. OMG thats not good

  • Hamza Robertson is Awesome

  • great song

  • OMG

    BEAUTIFUL!!!!

  • The video is great, I give it 9/10.

The shot of the Microphone + stand in front of the face is very unprofessional, visually speaking. And the bobbing back + forth doesn't look all that appealing :)

  • mash Allah awesome!!! Mash Allah u r so gud bro Hamza~~give me a high five!!

  • does anyone have lyrics for this? i want to understand it more deeply...

  • great well done.

    may God help uuuuuuuu

  • "Finally something new from Awakening", but its more pop than religious. Hamza Robertson has got a nice voice and writes his own lyrics. But that's not the point here this production from Awakening is very different from any of the ones from Sami Yusuf, Mesut Kurtis, Nazeel Azami. And Awakening had this other video of Hamza Namira called "Dream with Me", its completely arabic and I think its enough for a non-arab to just listen to it once and even that to just see the video.

  • when is the album coming out? I can't wait

  • You can't wait to what? Download it from the internet illegaly. Most of us don't buy albums by Nasheed artists and support them yet expect them to bring out an album every six months. fUnNy isn't it!

  • That was harsh, and unnecessary. You have made a number of false assumptions, and utilized them to make a wild accusation.

  • I think you got me wrong. What I was saying is that we should also support those artists because they are putting so much time and effort into it and not be demanding new albums when we don't even buy them. I hope I stand understood. :-)

  • Salaam Alaykom Brother. Thank you for your clarification. You have made a very valid point. I apologise, if my initial comments, were harsh. May Allah (SWT) bestow His Compassion upon you and your family, always.

  • he's from oldham

  • nice , where is he from ?

  • not bad

  • Great!!!

  • Amazing video and an amazing song. Well done Hamza. We are proud of you.

  • Awesome!

    Finally, something new from Awakening
